Honestly this company seems a bit unavailable. The reason one hires a car company for airport runs is so that they can trust that they'll get to the airport on time... Yet the owner of this company, "ARCHI", wanted to have me schedule my time of pick up - rather than giving recommendations as to what time we should be leaving. I don't make regular airport runs to LAX on a daily basis ... so I'm not the right person to make that call - obviously! The owner (ARCHI) is very sweet. But when I sent him the times for my flights - Departure and Arrival - he kept saying he wasn't clear on what my flights were for that day. We literally went back-and-forth 5 times on texts with me saying it's literally the time that I listed - time of departure and time of arrival. When I picked up the conversation a couple of weeks later - still leaving at least two weeks before I needed to book the service - I got back a text that Archi is "out of the country" now... and wasn't even going to be back within the two weeks for the booking! That's probably information he should've shared when he knew the date originally - because I certainly did send the date that I needed to book the service. Perhaps the company is just struggling at the moment but most likely will not be booking with this company in the future. read more

Extremely disappointed. Husband has used them for years and everything is going downhill lately. Usually sent a town car or SUV and is now a Prius for the same (or sometimes higher) cost. Didn't ask how many bags we had and they wouldn't fit well in the Prius. When we called all they offered was excuses, and blamed us for changing the initial reservation (our flight was cancelled and we were rebooked on an earlier flight). Unfortunately this is the second time something like this has happened, and it will be the last time we use them. Update: Immediately after posting this review our driver received a call from Archi and we were put on speaker to be subjected to a very aggressive guilt trip regarding the review. My husband does not use Yelp, and as such has never left him a review in the past. If you happen to be reading this from 3 years in the past, Archi is great. The 2016 version isn't as good. 3 years ago a sedan was a town car, now is a Prius. Our flight was cancelled and we had to rebook, which was the cause for the change. We did not "change our story 3 times" as was yelled at us through the speakerphone. What I neglected to mention earlier is that the driver who picked us up this evening actually showed up at the airport at 11:30 AM, when initially PM was requested. We were told on the phone that the Prius was the "last car available", when actually it was the car that was coming to get us all along. We know this because the same driver texted us in the AM at the incorrect pickup time. read more

I was quite disappointed with your service today, at the beginning everything went well... he picked up my mother got her to the house and when I came down to meet them, I noticed my mother had two small luggages, I am obviously 9 months pregnant and my mother is obviously 60 years old. I kindly asked him if he could help me with the second luggage and he said "No, I can't". Are you kidding me??? He goes on to tell me I can't leave my car here and I have another pick up (2 mins will change your life, right?), bunch of excuses to me. First of all I live here, if I am asking you, you can obviously leave your car here for two seconds and what do I care about your second pick up??? I shouldn't have to even ask! It's common courtesy. Pregnant lady + middle age lady= lets ask to help out with luggage. I would assume, in any case, this would be part of the service. At the end, he did it; but I had to fight for it and explain to him that I am pregnant and its mostly because there are 9 steps to do to get to my house. He took the luggage with a face that you wanted to smack and didn't even offer to take the small one my mother was carrying (none of them were heavy- I could carry both if I wasn't 9 months pregnant). Where have manners gone? When hiring people, maybe have them do an etiquette test, apparently it's not common sense. UPDATE I changed from 2 stars to 1 star because after I put this review Archi called me, Archi was the driver who picked up my mom. He was so rude on the phone, he even raised his voice and continued giving excuses something about he had an accident and that his car got scratched and I quote his own words "in your fucking garage" (he left it for no more than 2 mins). I had to put the phone down, which I warned him because 1. he wouldn't let me speak and 2. instead of saying sorry he just gave excuses. He then wrote me an email saying sorry about the inconvenience and continued with his lame excuses defending himself! Oh I was nice to your mom. Well I hope you were nice to my mom, that's the least to be expected. read more

I used Archi Transportation for a trip from Newport to LAX, and had a great experience. I booked over the phone only a few days before my trip and they were able to accommodate me. The driver was on time and friendly (even at 5am). Where they really earned their 5 stars was on the pickup. My phone was pickpocketed the last day of vacation (SE Asia) so I would not be able to text my driver when I landed. I emailed Archi Transportation before I took off and told them my situation. Without hesitation, the agent said she would have the driver meet me at the exit with a sign with my name on it. I got off the plane after a very, very long 2 days of travel and was greeted by my driver. Such a relief. Will definitely use Archi Transportation again. read more

Great Experience. It was easy to book a pickup for a client. The driver texted me when he was at the pickup location 20 minutes before the pickup time. He then texted when he had our client at the location and again when he was taking the client home. I was extremely happy that he kept me in the loop. Had a big group of family members visit us and I couldn't find anyone to pick them up from the airport. I hate taxis and I wanted my family members to have a good first experience in the states. I called several places but Archi Transportation was the only one that gave me a quick and straightforward rates. I decided to book them and couldn't be happier with their service. There are several things I expect from a limo service company, one they should NEVER be late, two, the booking process should be pain free, and three the drive should be an experience and not just a means of getting from A to B. I live in Palm Springs and have to travel out of the Country frequently. The fare for Sky West is prohibitive and I had to seek other transportation to LAX. I called Archi and gave them my information. They called back in less than 5 minutes with a great price. On my departure date the driver called when he was a 1/2 hour away to advise me of his position. He arrived in a almost brand new SUV and was dressed to the 9's. Not that I needed that type of service but it was nice. I had a very enjoyable ride to LAX and when we arrived the line was very long. He took a few turns and had me to my airline in minutes! I reserved a car for airport service (to and from) and the woman I spoke with was lovely. Couldn't be nicer. When I hesitated at the price, she offered me a Prius at a lower rate - perfect! They sent confirmations promptly. HOWEVER... when my 5:30am car didn't arrive by 5:40am, I started calling. Both the office and cell numbers that I was given. No answer. The business line had a recording that joyfully told me that customer service was now closed. I waited as long as I could, giving them the benefit of the doubt, calling over and over and no answer. I finally had to call a cab who was at my house in no time. I ended up leaving 40 minutes later than planned, which is not a great way to begin a trip. Once in the cab I called Archi again and told them to refund my fare immediately (they charged both trips at once), which they did. And they sent me a confirmation right away. But did they ever call to explain what happened? To apologize? To, perhaps, practice good customer service and try to keep this customer? Nope. I was stood up, called several times, and NEVER heard back. It's been 4 days now. Independent Cab, in case you're wondering, was prompt and the driver was sweet and managed to calm me down before my flight. read more

If you want to be left waiting at the door then book with them. I had ordered a private car to pick me up at 8:30 am and take me to LAX and didn't hear from them until 8:40 that they were not coming.
