You'll first notice there's (what looks like) a nice sitting area with a bathroom, and that overlooks the fields leading up to the playground. I've always seen families on the playground, but I cannot personally attest to its cleanliness or stability. There was also a sporting event of some kind going on in the park's field this past weekend, so it's a family-friendly spot. The parking lot is pretty large. There are neat little secluded parking spots that have a nice view of the river--they would provide a cool picnic area. I always see couples, old and young, just hanging out under the trees, taking in the scenery. I also see lots of fishermen hoping for catfish. The actual trail doesn't have a name. This is the same trail that bow hunters take to get to the main hunting ground. I haven't come across a hunter on the trail yet, but I see them in the parking lot frequently. The trail itself is peaceful, pretty, and easy. No hills, no challenges, just a nice relaxing stroll. It's a great beginners trail and a good running trail. You'll find the trail head in between the yellow markers at the very back of the parking lot. Remember to wear bright colors during hunting season!

I was initially told that I could ship it to KI but would have to pay for shipping. Instead I took it to Addiction Archery to have them contact KI and then repair it. I would just have to pay the labor that would probably amount to $85. Don contacted them and found out that actually KI would also pay for the shipping. I really appreciate that Don went the extra mile to get the repair done for the least amount of expense. Glad I found a hometown bow shop I can trust in the future. Jim W.

He stared at me blankly, when he could maintain eye contact that is, it was obvious that he would rather watch YouTube than serve his potential customer. I gave up on him and looked through the store myself. Products were terrible overpriced. When I shop, AS I shop, I pull up the same items on my Amazon app to price check. Almost every item I looked at was at around a 75% mark up. Ridiculous. They won't be here long.

That's what this place is. Kansas has lots of land and this land is perfectly Suited for a Sporting Clay Park. You have the choice to do trap and skeet or walk they 1.3 Mile Trail to shoot Sporting Clays. We opted for the latter as this was a day after Thanksgiving and I was extra super fat. They use a key card type system that they pre-program the RFID Card and as you go around to the different stations we opted for 200 Clay's but they give you 235 to account for breakage and flinging out some Clays that you want to see where they go. It looks like you can probably bring your own golf cart and do that but the walk actually did me a lot of good. Just like golf there are Reds and blues the reds are harder the blues are easier theoretically but we had a great time blasting neon colored clay discs. I brought just a hundred rounds but I had to go get another box cuz I wanted to shoot a little bit more. They have guys on buggies that will come around and pick you up and take you back to get the Mo if you run out or maybe get something to drink which I did. And of course they have a beautiful black lab there to give lots of love and pets 2. Also they are more than willing to be visible as they frequently drive around to make sure everything is okay overall this is a great place and I wish I could replicate what they did here in my hometown.
