Stopped in while visiting Kansas City and found exactly what I needed in Rogers Sporting Goods,…read moresome sandals. Mitch punctually opened the doors and greeted me as I entered. That was a nice welcome, thank you. The store is well laid out and I found the sandals easily and they were reasonably priced. Thank you for allowing me to visit your store. Have a good day. 0:-)

Buyer beware -- my first purchase from Rogers will also be my last…read more I bought a pair of SITKA VentLite GTX boots from Rogers for $249.99. These are boots that originally retailed around $400, and Rogers is clearly discounting them to move remaining inventory. Not long after my purchase, they dropped the exact same boots another $50, down to $199.99. I called customer service and explained that this was my first-ever purchase from Rogers, that the price had dropped significantly shortly after I bought them, and asked if they could do anything for me -- a price adjustment, store credit, anything. I wasn't asking for something unreasonable. I was asking them to show a little flexibility on a $250 purchase when they had just cut the price another $50. Their answer was simply that because I was past their three-week window, they would do absolutely nothing. That tells me everything I need to know about how Rogers values a new customer. I understand companies have policies, but good customer service is about knowing when to make a reasonable exception. This was my first purchase with them, it was expensive hunting gear, the price drop was substantial, and the product is obviously being cleared out. They still chose not to offer even a small courtesy credit or store credit. To me, that is poor customer service and poor customer retention. I spend $2,000-$5,000 a year on hunting gear/accessories, and I specifically try to support retailers that will stand behind the customer after the sale. Rogers had an opportunity to earn a repeat customer over $50 and instead lost one completely. I will not shop with Rogers again. If you're considering buying sale or clearance gear from them, just know that if the price drops shortly after your purchase and you're outside their adjustment window, you may be completely out of luck. I wish I had known that before placing my order. Josh C
