At first, after some instruction, I thought, no way, I can't do this. But with some encouragement I tried and didn't do so badly. The young lady Sam was very helpful and you can tell she knows her Archery. She was pleasant and really wanted us to feel comfortable and happy with our shots even if we did them poorly. The only negative thing I have is that she speaks so softly. So, either she has to have a louder voice, esp. with seniors or the shop has to turn down the music so we can hear her. Remember, some seniors can't hear. LOL The shop itself needs to put a fan in the shooting area or turn up the AC because it gets hot back there. It would be nice if water was available or whoever sets up the reservation is told to bring water. I am glad there were only five us. Anymore and it would have been uncomfortable. In total we were there about an hour and a half. Not bad for $20..We all agreed it was a good amount of time for first timers. Oh, the other thing to make sure the caller is told, and I don't know if this was done, but when we went in, our friend had open toe shoes on and that is a no, no. You must wear closed shoes.

I used to purchase single arrows to experiment with from a way larger store in PA, but they changed the policy to only dozen arrow sales. I was happy to find out that Extreme still sells single arrows. They might be a bit pricier, but it's worth it to experiment. If they don't have something you were looking for, they leave you a prompt voice message when it's back in stock. Outstanding customer service. Very reasonable minimum shipping, and a pretty good supply of basic items. I live too far away to comment on the in store experience but if I was in the area visiting, I would stop in.     First, let me say that the staff is exceedingly friendly (which is why they got 2 stars instead of…read more1). Went to purchase 2 pistols on 12/3/2025. Not in stock so I made a deposit and they ordered them for me. I was told they should be in receipt of the pistols in 7-10 days. Since it is the holiday season and these pistols are a big part of that for me, I attempted to perform my due diligence by calling to check the status of these deliveries 10 days after my purchase (12/13/2025). I was assured by the gentleman who I spoke to that it was normal for them to be a little late due to the holidays and I was assured I'd receive a call as soon as they had them. I waited another 4 days before calling again on 12/17/2025. I was told the same spiel and my patience was requested. I kindly requested that these items be tracked so that I would have the possibility of scrambling to buy these pistols elsewhere to be in time for Christmas. The nice gentleman got my contact info and promised to call me back. He did so a short time later to explain to me that their distributor never did ship the pistols but that they would definitely be shipped out that day (a Wednesday) and that they would be there that Friday or Monday at the latest. When Saturday came around and I still never heard anything, I called again (12/20/2025). I explained my situation and asked that the pistols be tracked. I was told that there is only 1 person there that can track items and he would not be in until 3pm that same day. I called back about 4pm and asked for the gentleman to be told he was assisting another customer and my contact info was taken and I was to receive a call back when he was free. The call was never returned. Having gotten nowhere on the phone in 4 attempts, I drove to the store myself on 12/22/2025. I yet again explained the situation and the gentleman explained that these 2 pistols were sent to their Hampstead store on 12/8/2025! I told him what I had been told and he saw no evidence that the shipment was missed or that they were re-shipping only that the tracking info (which i repeatedly attempted to get someone to look up) told the very simple story that they were simply sent to the wrong Eastern Outfitters. Since absolutely everything went wrong up to this point, I asked if I could just drive to Hampstead myself to avoid any further delays. I was told I could not do that (I assume to allow them to get to make the sale in their own store). They did immediately dispatch someone to go to Hampstead to pick them up, however. I am not splitting hairs that the errors occurred, I am perturbed that nothing could be handled over the phone and I had to be physically present for the issue to be properly investigated. This simple purchase was turned into a stressful situation to the point I had to feel lucky that the pistols were received (just barely) in time for Christmas when it could have been rectified 2 weeks prior if they would have simply tracked the packages. as I had requested. On another note, after all of this, I wasn't offered a box of shells or anything, just repeated apologies for the disorganization. Again, really nice people here but this simple transaction was made far more painful than it needed to be. Next time, I will just go back to their Hampstead store where I have bought a few guns previously with no hiccups.
