We hired this company to remodel our bathroom and it has been an absolute nightmare from start to…read morefinish. After four months, we still do not have a functioning shower. The list of errors is extensive: the flooring was installed incorrectly, the faucet in the tub was incorrect, the shower trim color was wrong and had to be reordered, and the shower door was installed backwards. We have had to micromanage every aspect of the project to catch each error as it was occuring. Each mistake has required a return visit - we are now looking at a 5th return to complete -- and even after multiple appointments spanning four months, the project is still not finished. Each person we've spoken to has simply pointed a finger at someone else. Each correction came with additional fees to correct. No offers to compensate us through discount even when asked. We expected a professional, timely remodel. Instead, we've been left without a shower for four months due to repeated errors and poor quality control. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the stress and find a contractor who gets it right the first time.

This job was started may 10 and I was very specific it had to be finished may 16 for realtor pics on 17th. They didn't show up on 15th and didn't call. Rained on 16th. On 17th, they rushed to get finished before pictures and were still there when photographer showed up. I hurriedly wrote a check to Ben Macy, the owner. As you can see in the pictures, there is spacing on the railing. The stairs are awful, looks like wonky stairs at a fun house. They are not level. They are leaning. The stair rails are leaning. How is this considered quality work?? I was told it's because we used the original risers. But my stairs were not crooked at all before this. As you can see, the first board is not level with concrete. This has nothing to do with riser- previous board was completely level with walkway. The next day, the18th, we talked and i told him i need the stairs to not be leaning. He said they'd be out the next week. Didn't hear from him, they didn't show up. I called Ben on may 29. They couldn't come out that week because they were finishing a big job. WHAT ABOUT MY JOB YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED?? Today is June 13 and i still haven't heard from Ben or seen his crew. We found Luke's company on Yelp and were impressed with the positive reviews and the numerous examples of his superior customer service. Luke met us at the house in December of 2023 and we walked the property with a punchlist. He had the foresight to bring along his interior designer, Amy, who has proved to be amazing! He bid the project and reworked the scope in two weeks. The budget was approved and work began on February 14th. The project included carpet removal, new wood and tile flooring, rewiring of the entire 2800 sq foot basement, design-build basement kitchen-office and workout room, new master bathroom, three additional new bathrooms, new laundry room, addition of a pantry, etc. Needless to say the scope of this project would take most contractors over a year or longer to complete. Luke also managed lawn service, pool care, a mailbox replacement, furniture delivery, new garage door installation, foundation work and internet install. We spoke yesterday and he has scheduled the cleaning crew and a photographer. I will admit we are blown away and beyond impressed! 90 DAYS, ON TIME and ON BUDGET. Recently, we found Luke's Repairs and Remodeling to address the following issues: all interior and exterior doors were replaced and reframed, all pocket doors were replaced with new hardware which required removing and replacing the drywall. We also needed the entire house painted, a closest built around our mechanicals and additional shelving erected in the laundry area, as well as some electrical work. Luke came out, listened to everything we had to say and gave excellent input for the project. He gave us an estimate and stayed within the estimate for the entire job. Luke started on time, communicated throughout the entire timeline and ended on time. I purchased a fixer upper first home and after a while i noticed quite a few cracks developing in…read moremy basement floor from around the support polls. this was quite alarming as this is my first house and it seemed as if it was falling into the earth. I knew of cardinal foundation through my automotive work, Steve(owner) is a fantastic customer of ours and i had been told he does fantastic work and decided to ask him to come and take a look at my cracking foundation. Steve quickly set up an appointment with me for the following Saturday, he took a thorough look around my basement and reassured me that all of the damage would be repairable and was honest to the point of letting me know that I probably would not have to address any of it right away as it was a slow sinking issue. However I expressed the extent of my concern to him and he set up a plan to repair and support my home. we set a date for a around 45 days later to begin, and as promised Steve and his team showed up and got to work, I left a key for him and by the time I was able to stop by on my lunch, less than three hours, they had already installed temporary supports and had removed five large sections of concrete for the repair. I was highly impressed as they did all of this not only in a extremely quick period of time, but also in my basement that has a staircase maybe three feet wide and with ceilings that max out at six feet at most! Steve gave me a call a few hours later to update me that they had poured all the new concrete fillers, cleaned and locked up for me. I of course had to take a curious peak at the work when I got home that night, everything was very clean and perfectly poured/ leveled. after letting the concrete set they returned about a week later and installed the new supports, after I stopped in that day on my lunch, Steve and his team were able to address a separate concern of mine and shim/ raise one corner of my home at the foundation. when I returned home that evening, walking around it felt like a brand new house! no more squeaks and rattles from the floor and I could jump up and down without a single noise from any of the surrounding rooms! I was very impressed! after looking everything over once complete i was blown away! I never thought a repair could be done both quickly and cleanly, it was amazing! throughout the whole process I felt informed and allowed to be involved as much as I wanted, I was allowed to touch most everything, I was also relieved to have someone I could trust in my home while I wasn't there. to top it all off the price was extremely reasonable and Steve informed me that he would stand behind the work and address any issues that could arise in the future, though I doubt ill have any issues based on the appearance of the work! I cannot say enough good things about Steve and his team! I highly recommend them to anyone that is experiencing foundational concerns of any severity. honest, reliable and fast!
