Tim Neller was a Godsend for us when we were first looking for someone knowledgeable and trustworthy to handle our taxes for us and he continues to be that for us to this day. I was self employed and my husband was in the military when we first started going to BRN and so our taxes were pretty complicated. Now my husband is retired from the military and my employment situation has changed and Tim continues to be able to help us through all of our life changes. Tim also helps my son with his taxes now as well, which is much appreciated! Tim and the rest of the BRN team are always very responsive to our questions and tax concerns and are always very helpful. I rarely interact directly with Pierre or the CPAs anymore, and I increasingly feel I am paying significant fees without receiving the level of guidance I would expect as a business owner. My biggest concern has been communication. This year, the lack of responsiveness has become especially frustrating, despite multiple follow-ups and my directly communicating my concerns about the situation. Emails and questions have repeatedly gone unanswered or taken an unreasonable amount of time to address. I do want to recognize Janie Wagner, who has been very helpful since taking over my account and has made a genuine effort to address the situation. Unfortunately, my overall experience with the firm has been defined by poor communication and a lack of proactive guidance. After several years with the firm, I ultimately feel that I have not received the level of service or business and tax guidance that I have been paying for. I would not recommend Pierre Accounting based on my experience.
