Just to get an idea of what she had to deal with, I included a picture of (one of three) piles of transactions that needed to be digitalized.  Trust is also a major factor for me when it comes to sharing financial information, and even though I know her from before, she still had no issue/wasn't offended by my asking to provide references, which was appreciated, and the references couldn't stop raving about her professional bookekeeping skills.  With her help, my books are perfectly neat, and it's easy to pay our bills on time. I paid $350 deposit for an online tax prep meeting so I will have to dispute charge with my credit card to get my money back! Stay away! Edit: Taxlana returned my $350 deposit. I did not get my taxes done by them so I cannot comment on that. But the experience of not being able to reach this company by phone or other and the location listed is not legit.
