This is a long-overdue review for Daniel. He's very kind and gave a great free presentation on tax planning to our minority community in San Diego. While trying to select and invite speakers for our event, I found it hard to find a good presenter for the topic, as most CPAs are limited to tax preparation. He's both super communicative and available: 1) Although he's very busy (especially in season) he still takes time to sit down and meet with you, review paperwork and advise of any missing material. 2) If you have questions later he either takes the call right away or returns your call very promptly. I have been doing my tax with Daniel for 2 years now, and I don't think it can get any better. I've been using TurboTax previously but my tax situation got a bit tricky and need some help from CPA. While other agency rejected or don't know how to handle my tax, Daniel gave me a clear picture of how I should handle my tax. I appreciate that he always explain things really well. Okay so me and my husband made an appointment at this place at 2 o clock this Friday. We called him 5 days prior to this appointment. On the day of our appointment, we got a phone call pass 12 o clock from his office telling us they have to reschedule us to 4 pm because of unknown reasons. We have other plans and it is really unprofessional for them to call less than two hours ahead to notify us. We made it clear we can't make it other than 2 o clock. And somehow his secretary got scared and Daniel picks up the phone. While talking to him he told us direct quote "I don't give anything for free!" I guess what he says on his website free consultation is a scam. When asked about the price, he cannot give us any information or any range. Appointment scheduling was very easy, he has a team to help with those logistics. He'll let you know what documents to bring, so come prepared! Great CPA to speak with if you have complicated tax matters. Courteous, professional and knowledge.

His website states that Daniel offers a free consultation. I make an appointment for Friday on Tuesday. Two hours before the appointment he calls and tells me that he is busy and would have to reschedule. I just have three or four questions, but Daniel makes himself seem that he is the king of the world and that he cannot answer my questions over the phone. He also tells me that he doesn't offer free consultations, although his website states otherwise. I ask how much he charges and get a response that Daniel's services cost $250/hour. He is a huge douche from minute one. The reason I had an appointment to begin with is that he outright refuses to state his tax preparation fee over the phone . He wouldn't even give a price range. I am more than willing to pay someone for being honest and knowledgeable. Not Daniel. Stay away from this guy. I know this guy will reply and say that I was being rude. read more
