A friend told me about a free low income tax service of which I slipped right under the ceiling. I thought heck I'll save $100+ dollars.... WRONG!... took time off work, drove all the way down to Chula Vista in traffic only to be Denied by a lone disinterested employee who mistakenly informed me that I was missing a form and we cannot proceed until I acquire it. Lesson learned- don't screw around with your finances/taxes; pay a pro who knows what they're doing and has some passion about their job/buisness. I thought Cuong Nguyen was a good tax specialist since my sister recommended him to me but I was so wrong. When he did my tax he ask me if I wanted to get my tax refund my check or by my bank. I said bank. Well guess what I just received a letter in the mail saying I owe the state of california franchise tax board $149.85. This amount was suppose to be $140 that was suppose to be taken from my bank account when Cuong Nguyen did my tax. So not only did I receive this letter but I have to pay $9.85 more. I have never receive any penalty on my tax EVER. I will never come back here and would not recommend this place for anyone. If I can give this place 0 star rating I would. and I have never given anyone 0 star. For the federal tax, I did get my tax refund to my bank. What I'm piss is the the state one, when you did my tax you didn't put my bank information so they could not do the same even though you said you were going to do it. I live pretty far away. I'm not going to drive there just for $9.85. But I am so disappointed with this place and tell everyone to check their tax paper before leaving, read more

I was recommended to check this place out to file my taxes and I am glad I did. The ability to set up an appointment was extremely convenient and the process took less than 20 minutes. Parking was also a huge plus with plentiful of space. Additionally they accepted all form of pay including Apple Pay which makes things so much more efficient compared to other places I've been to that only accepted cash.
