I walked off my plane, downstairs straight to the Archangels desk, and was in a vehicle headed to my Dad's place in less than 5 minutes. Great driver. We took 'back roads' for a bit to avoid rush hour traffic. Safe driving...did NOT make my heart stop with tailgating or aggressive driving style. Waaaay easier than Uber. Have already booked my return trip to the airport. Can recommend with no reservations or qualifiers. read more

I arrived at GSO expecting to take a Uber for my round-trip to Winston-Salem. But alas, Uber refused to accept any of my three cards on file there and dropped me in the mud. (I'll never trust Uber again.) What to do. I had very limited time. Very. Tried to rent a car -- no rental company would deal with a same-day rental. (WTF?) In desperation, I went to the cab counter in the terminal (near where the rental cars are.) The counter was not occupied so I called the number on the sign. When a nice lady answered I asked for a quote. The figure she gave me for a RF-T to W-S was very close to what Uber quoted, although the latter's prices vary hugely depending on "load." The driver was on premised and whisked me off to W-S promptly. He was an excellent operator -- none of that wacky, stupid big-city driving stuff. Price was fair. Driver was excellent and vehicle (a Honda van) was fine. What's not to like? Oh yes, and they were there when I needed some help. read more

This was the absolutely the WORSE experience that I've had with a taxi/airport shuttle. It started 4 days before my arrival with my group of 11. I was quoted a rate of $125 for van service (by S), but I was told to call their desk 2 days before arriving to confirm reservation. I followed the instructions, spoke to a second employee (J), who told me I was all set. When arriving to the desk in GSO, a third associate informed me that there was no reservation in the system! He called the dispatcher (who was quite rude) who informed me that there was no reservation because I hadn't paid in advance.. Neither Ms. J or Mr. S requested any type of payment. Then I was informed that the quotes were incorrect, and that the van has been out of service for a week. After a lot of back & forth, I was presented with a $250 quote for two vehicles, "take it or leave it!"... With the need to transfer my clients to their hotel, I accepted the offer. I was told the cars would arrive in a few minutes, which turned out to be closer to 45 minutes. Finally, one vehicle was loaded with 4 clients, then a van arrived to transport the additional 7. The final indignity was once on the road, We noticed the van had a long crack from the passenger side, along the top to the driver's side of the front windshield! Was this the van that was out of service?? We'll never know, but one thing for sure I will never use or recommend this company,, Not even to my worse enemy!! read more

My mother asked our driver Nelson how much further we had until we got to the Charlotte airport from the Greensboro PTI airport and he would not respond. She asked three separate times - no answer. He Finally responded and said I'm not saying anything because I don't want your complaints to show up in the reviews. Too late! This is my second review. We had no choice in using them. Our mom does not drive. So when she arrived at the GSO-PTI airport archangels was still open at midnight to take her home. The company was extremely nice and got her home safely. She did leave her phone in the cab and the next day they were able to retrieve it and leave it at their desk at the airport. Thank you Jeff for helping our mom out. The only thing I will say is that the pricing is a tad high. $50 from the airport for a 12 mile trip is pricey. read more

I do not trust this agency behind the wheel! I was just driving and had to slam on breaks with my children in the car because one of their white carrier van drivers cut me off due to them swerving all over the road on spring garden. This almost caused a huge accident & I had to drive on the wrong side of road to avoid them hitting me. I immediately called to speak with a manger & he was not apologetic at all. He even encouraged me to call the police to report a suspected drunk driver of his. Horrible experience!! read more

The driver who took me home from the airport was nothing but kind and professional, which is why I felt terrible for not being able to tip him. I paid $63 for a one-way ride that was under 25 miles away. That is absolutely ridiculous. When I took an Uber to the airport, I paid half that - including tip - which I let my driver know. Hopefully they pay their employees handsomely because if not, then some sleezeball is probably collecting outrageous checks he or she doesn't deserve. read more

I reserved a ride 26 hours ahead to be picked up at 10:30am. At 10:33 I called to let them know I was waiting out front instead of at the building. At 10:45 I called to say I was concerned and they said someone was on their way. At 10:50 I called to tell them to get someone out right away. They said someone was on the street around the corner. At 11:00 I got a call from the driver asking where I was. I told him. He said the dispatcher had originally given him the wrong address and the wrong phone number for me. At 11:02 he arrived. He said he was an independent driver that they contracted sometimes, and that they had called him at 10:30 (the time I was to be picked up)! I travel a lot for work. When I arrived in Greensboro airport and headed towards ground transportation I was flagged down by a woman sitting in her booth which had a huge sign saying Taxi. I didn't see any other stands so I used her to order a Taxi. I was charged the fee and tip ahead of time (how am I supposed to tip on service when I can't comment on it yet?). Nonetheless she had good customer service skills and attitude so I thought that same attitude might filter down. I was given to driver "Khan". He opened his trunk, and walked to his door. I guess I was to put my own luggage inside the truck and close it, then get inside. Ok. Not to be pretentious but just compared to EVERY OTHER TAXI on the planet, at least they put your bags in their car and close their own trunks. During the entire ride to the hotel he NEVER said a word. Ever. Ok, maybe he's having a bad day. Whatever. We arrived at the hotel, and I exited the vehicle. He stayed inside and pushed a button which opened the trunk. Ok, now - really? You can't even exit your vehicle to take my bags out of YOUR trunk and CLOSE YOUR OWN TRUCK LID? I might use their service again, but I will insist to never have that driver again. I wish I hadn't tipped at all. Get a clue pal. It's a customer service oriented business. read more

Only slightly better than walking. Rate charged was four dollars more than rate quoted over phone for my destination address. Old, smelly, and worn out van (340K showing on odometer...likely more) with no air conditioner. Barely made it up hills. No working seat belts. Just glad to be home. Use at your peril! read more
