I want to say thank you to Support Systems of Forsyth County for being a dependable and safe…read moretransportation company. I'm an independent person who doesn't like not having the ability to drive herself around. Luckily, I have had the pleasure of being properly chauffeured by the team at Support Systems of Forsyth County. The team is always on time, courteous, helps me get in and out of the vehicle, and doesn't forget me at my doctor's office. LOL Everyone practices CDC COVID-19 guidelines and wears face masks, and I am always the only person in the vehicle, other than the driver of course. During these trying and difficult times, especially with my current situation recovering from surgery, it's nice to know that you can depend on others when you need help. I want to give a big shout out this #ThankYouThursday to this very special, #BlackOwned, small triad business. If you ever do get a chance to call upon Support Systems of Forsyth County, tell them Kindra sent ya!

Ms. Ruth provided a caring, compassionate and safe experience for me with a smile on her face. From my initial call to Ms. Ruth, she was professional and answered the phone to schedule the appointment. Although she was in a meeting, Ms Ruth returned my call as promised. We worked as a team for a solution to securely assist me down the steps in front of my home until I was safely inside. Ms. Ruth is my angel and knightess in shining armor. I highly recommend this transportation service to anyone looking for an affordable service. They partner with the city for those approved to use the access I-ride program. What a blessing for those needing transportation to doctor's appointments. "Service with a smile" with safety, security and sincerity. Ms. Ruth is my (s)hero. I can't say enough about her and the transportation offered, especially the wheelchair lift for greater accessibility. On a scale of 1-10, my rating would be 100. What a lifesaver.Jim and

Just want to start out by stating that my review here is not for the W-S Transit Authority per se,…read morebut the Clark Campbell Transportation Center itself that is located at this address. There are more buses and transportation that operate here at this location than WSTA. I have used the Clark Campbell Transportation Center here in downtown Winston-Salem as it is the stop for the Amtrak Connector bus service that goes to/from W-S and the High Point Amtrak depot (Amtrak does not have a direct train stop in W-S). The connector shuttle is part of the PART system. From their website, "PART Express is the regional bus system connecting the major cities of the Piedmont..." and does its part with one of their shuttles made for Amtrak customers. The station/center itself is supposed to be relatively new, and it's in fairly good shape. I don't see a lot of presence there in the form of staff though. But being that I have gone through on holidays or weekends, that may be the reason why. Maybe more staff around would discourage those who hang around and loiter about, but just a thought. The connectors have always been on time from leaving here, definitely a plus. The PART connector for Amtrak did leave the High Point depot "on time" even when the train was late getting there, stranding fellow passengers and I at one point, but that can be for another time to discuss...it has not happened at this center and the schedule has run smoothly here. Bottom line: Good functional station, could stand a bit of a clean up and more staffing, but does the job and schedule has run well.
