I've had stressful situations where the lash tech has been rude and impatient. And Jessica really put that fear I had at ease. I got my first set on my birthday and I went from being so anxious about the appointment to being able to fall asleep on the bed. It means a lot that there was someone who heard my worries and was able to put my mind at ease. The energy of the shop is also so CALM but in the best way, definitely calming self care vibes. See you again later Jessica!

In fact, I wish I could give her 10 stars. The thing that really stands out about her is how much she cares about her clients. She cares about making them feel comfortable. She cares about listening to whatever is going on in their lives. She cares about creating a welcoming environment. Mostly, she cares about providing a really great service. I've always left my appointments with her with a little spring in my step. It's weird to say that getting waxed is fun when it hurts like hell, but she makes this something I look forward to. She is just so fun and easy to be around! I also love that I never feel judged or uncomfortable; Pink Moon is truly a safe space. There are NO pretentious vibes here. Wanted to note this blurb from her website because she truly stands by this, and I know these can be important criteria when deciding who to go to: "My studio welcomes everyone: clientele of all races, ethnicities, genders and body types. I love and support my fat, POC, LGBTQ, transgender and gender-nonconforming clientele." If you're looking for a waxing, a facial, or eyelash and eyebrow services, I can't recommend Jane enough!

I can't emphasize enough how amazing Jane is, and how wonderful the space she has created in Pink Moon is. I look forward to every visit! I also recently had the joy of getting a massage from Renee, a new practitioner at the expanded Pink Moon studio. Renee was kind and empathetic to my aches and pains, as well as the emotional struggles that can lead to discomfort in your body. She had great recommendations for me for self care after the massage, and she was an excellent massage therapist! The pressure was firm and consistent, and she helped provide relief to troublesome areas. I will absolutely be back to see Renee! She also does Thai massage, which I didn't try, but am super interested to checkout.

The woman who helped me was very nice and made me feel comfortable. I told her I liked the thickness and overall shape of my eyebrows and just wanted to tidy them up. Unfortunately, I did not like the outcome of my brows. She thinned them down and I left still with hair in between my eyebrows. No one wants to leave with totally different eyebrows than they wanted. My take away is that if you've never tried "sugaring"- just stick with waxing.
