I have received effective pain management and immune system reinforcement care in a beautiful, peaceful, centralized location on the Arcata Plaza, in downtown Arcata. At Yin Rituals, care can be provided individually or in a community acupuncture setting, which is more traditional care for folks to benefit in the healing environment of others undergoing treatment. Community acupuncture is also a way to bring down the price of acupuncture for more access to care. Alyssa will walk folks through the process for first-timers. Rest assured, confidentiality is still adhered to for community acupuncture and modesty is respected (no undressing necessary--just sleeves and pants rolled-up or arrive in tank-tops and shorts for ease of access). Practitioner Alyssa, LAc, MS, is not only an acupuncturist, but also a Chinese Medicine herbalist with a line of Roots & Bone products that can complement acupuncture care. Here's an article about Roots and Bones, the herbal company: https://www.humboldtmade.com/roots-and-bones.
