I had a minor incident with a gate arm. It was not major damage and I just wanted to take care of it out of pocket. I obtained an estimate for repair from a shop that seemed very high for the damage to the car. Had a collision with a very large tire tread while on the way to Palm Springs. Mercury sent my car to Arcaro's for the repairs and I'm so glad they did. For whatever reason, there was a week-long delay in my car arriving to Arcaro's from the tow yard but Cindy was so helpful and she made calls on our behalf to try and get the ball rolling. Once our car finally made it to the shop, Cindy and Brian communicated often, keeping me well informed. Being that we lived 1.5 hours away, they worked quickly to make it possible for us to pick it up before closing. The car looked fantastic! They even detailed it! I would give them 10 stars if I could. A friend recommended them for a repair on my 2005 Scion XA window motor repair. I called the Toyota dealership, and the repair estimate was $800.00 per window. Arcaro's out the door price was $670.00 for BOTH windows. Michael arranged the work and was quite professional about the whole thing. He even walked us out to the car to insure we were satisfied. The bumper in the front had car popped out due to a low curb. I got it partially back it...he had his guys put in back where it belonged...no charge...we didn't even ask him to do it. He just did. I would like to add to my review that I received a call 4 days after my post describing my experience when I went to the business. Michael couldn't have been more nice and responsive and was generally interested in gathering information regarding my experience with that person I encountered who couldn't even be bothered enough to identify or introduce himself so when I wrote my review his identity had to be a description. Michael was very apologetic and took full responsibility for his employees behavior. Unfortunately I don't want to run into that employee his behavior was so outrageous so I won't be going there but I am so appreciative that Michael took the time to call and hear me out. ABSOLUTELY ABHORRENT... ...I've been an owner of both luxury and classic cars my whole life, and things happen, and I've lived in cities all over the country... ...and this place is, without question, the worst body shop I have ever had the misfortune of patronizing -- in terms of both customer service, and "repairs." For starters. the person with whom I worked, FOR MONTHS ("Mario"), was so stoned all the time that he literally never remembered my name, or what I looked like, or how he could contact me via email or phone. I mean I probably dealt with the dude, either via phone or in person, about 60 times over the span of a few months, and every time I called he had no idea who I was, and every time I walked into the shop he also had no idea who I was. I mean it was actually really, truly bizarre; I've got suoee distinctive tattoos and I take my (gorgeous) dog with me everywhere I go, and I'm sorry, but this dude should have remembered me. But he didn't, ever. he would just stare at me with these creepy dead, vacant eyes and say something like, "Ummm...who are you again?!?!?!" Ridiculous. Absurd. Inexcusable. Just to refresh "Mario's" memory: I'm the dude with the 1972 Mercedes 350 SL, that needed work on the door and the hood latch replaced. Remember me? You told me you could only get about half of the parts required to do the work, and you made me find the others on my own. it took months, but I did it. then you tacked an extra $500 onto your "work order" to paint some nuts and bolts, and the door still doesn't open or close properly. Oh, and now the window doesn't go down, when it did before i brought it in. When I asked about it, you said that that would be a "whole new work order," and you also kind of smirked and scoffed. Oh, and there are bolts and screws missing that were not missing before, and all of a sudden there are pieces in my car that are PLASTIC, rather than STEEL. I'll say it: I think you stole coveted parts from my (very rare and precious) car. I emailed you about this, but you never replied. Also, you switched out my (brand new) battery with an ild battery, and you fused it so tightly that I'm going to need the jaws of life to get it out of there. So not only did you make me source the parts to fix my car myself, but you also caused even more damage. Folks, please...AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! ZERO STARS!!! read more

When I picked up my truck the completed work looked perfect and the truck had been freshly washed. After a freak accident on the freeway, running over a gigantic piece of semi re-tread, I took my Hyundai Elantra to several body shops for estimates. I was paying out of pocket - the estimates ranged from $2,000 to $4,400. I chose Arcaro's not only for price but I liked Michael and the shop was clean and professional. They did a great job. There were a couple things I chose not to do since I was paying and he really worked with me to make it affordable. I hope I don't need to use them again, but if I do, I will! I initially made contact with this body shop after buying a small $10 BMW part on eBay. I went to pick it up in person here and met Michael. I have various vehicles in a collection at any given time. One needed a bumper refresh. I gave Arcaro's a try versus going to my for many years preferred shop in San Diego. Arcaro's did a great job. My black car was absolutely attacked by a wayward sprinkler! Needless to say, I had awful calcium deposits all over the front of my car. I had a mobile car detailer try a few things, in order to remove them, but none of them worked. Couldn't leave a more positive review for Arcaro's. I had dings and scratches from when my car was hit. They took me right in and submitted the estimate to my insurance the same day. It was approved the following day and they started work immediately. They kept my car for about 2-3 days and when I got it back I couldn't even tell where the damage had been.
