I've had…read moresuch amazing experiences and this place could've just saved me from a potential fatal infection I had in my mouth for a year and a half. I will share my story about this amazing place! I have been dealing with a rotted molar for a year and a half, my tooth had so much damage to it that it eventually broke into several pieces but the other half of the tooth was left inside my mouth rotted. For a year and a half every dentist I would find in Rhode Island told me they couldn't do it. And then one day I contacted Thundermist, they literally squeezed me in immediately because I was in so much pain, they did X-Rays and that's when I met Dr. Meera Sharma who changed my life. She was so kind and assured me she would remove it, I couldn't believe it finally someone was going to do it. They did tell me it would take me quite some time to get an apt due to the schedule being booked, but I didn't want anyone else I wanted Dr. Sharma. I waited about a month and a half still in pain, but she prescribed me meds and I was able to handle it. The day of my procedure I was terrified because I have severe anxiety, Dr. Sharma's young lady assistant was beyond amazing. She kept me calm, I was shaking and crying and she educated me on everything, showed me the tooth and what would be happening. As I'm freaking out Dr. Sharma came in and reassured me I am in control, and whatever I say goes. Once again educating me and telling me what would be happening. After the initial terror I had, I was finally able to calm down. They both spoke to me calmly, patiently and worked on the tooth. Dr. Sharma is a trooper my tooth wouldn't come out it took an hour to get it out, she didn't give up on me and was patient and she didn't hurt me at all! I can't believe the impeccable job that was done. I am thankful beyond belief for her. I am eternally grateful and she saved my life. A year and a half in pain and I am no longer in pain all due to Dr.Sharma I am so grateful for her. FYI I am on state insurance so to my fellow Medicaid people with dental issues try here. This was the only place who would do it, and I'm so glad this was my option!

I received a phone call on Monday to make an appointment, that appointment was today. When I was called into the back I was not met with even a hello rather pointed to a chair and asked "what are you here for". I explained that I was here from the Providence VA and met with an "oh", the dental tech then left the room, every staff member that walked by the room look in it with a dirty look. When I explained to the dental tech that I had just had a tooth pulled the day before and asked to be gentle with the xray film I was told that the xrays "needed to be done". I have very bad TMJ and jaw shifting but wasn't able to explain that to her before the film was where my tooth was extracted, making me gag. I then asked for a pano so they could get the needed pictures and that was even an issue. I am 5'11 and 250 lbs and have had many panos done so I know that 1. the machine is adjustable and 2. i fit. without adjusting the machine from its low position I tried to bite the bite stick but again very bad jaw shifting due to TMJ while crouching and trying to bite the stick I could not move my head against the machine and into the correct position without losing the bite stick. The pano never happened and I could not leave fast enough and didnt even see the doctor. The staff is completely unprofessional and made me feel like I was wasting their time! I will never go back to them again and we be telling the VA about how incredibly rude they are as to not have another veteran treated this way.

Their hygenists are all very nice and very good but I prefer Sue. She is wonderful and for several years now I will only go to see her. She has a nice way about her and does not dive into your mouth hacking and slashing. Nope. Hers is a kindler, gentler cleaning method that I approve of. Sure, she gets it doen and done well. Just without the pain and bleeding that I have gotten as an extra for no charge from other hygenists. Dr. Coletti is a very nice man. Profesional. Competent. An excellent dentist. I have to say that Caroline Danish, of Danish & O'Laughlin, is by far the best dentist I've ever had the pleasure of being treated by. Sounds strange to use the terms "dentist" and "pleasure" in the same sentence, but Caroline's skill, professionalism and chair-side manner are second to none. The big difference between her and other dentists is that she treats you like a person, not just an appointment. She cares about her patients. She'll take time to fully explain your treatment options and will do everything possible to preserve the teeth you have. I actually look forward to my trips to the dentist now.
