Place is legit. I'm a kind of crazy dog dad and they accommodate that and make me feel at home. They definitely care. The front desk lady, I think Julia, is amazing. I've went through probably 5-7 vets before I found Arcadia and have been very pleased. Little homie is my baby and I won't tolerate anything but caring, obviously invested in his health, type of staff, and they are just that. Extremely disappointed. We were stuck in traffic and they took us 10 minutes before clinic closed but that was where the comfort ends. They could not readily locate our records even though we made sure to be established. They had not received my 13.5 yr old dog's history/records and were not concerned, even though it included an x-ray and other health history/records relative to current visit. Had blood drawn, never heard back. I called, still never heard back. I finally requested records and received them the next day with a note how they were still unsuccessful at locating the vet who saw us. I look at the few notes and see that they are not even documented accurately. read more

Took our pup here while passing through park city as she had digestive issue for the past few days. Great service! They were fast, efficient, and most importantly our dog was better the next day. Hands down the best clinic. I was referred by a friend after finding out my little sweet 8 year chihuahua had an abscessed tooth and required surgery. I drove from Salt Lake City to Heber and I would do it again in a heart beat. They walked me the costs and explained everything thoroughly. They treated my baby with such care and concern and I'm happy to say she is so much happier now and has had no complications. They followed all Covid protocols and did it with such ease. Everyone i encountered was so kind and professional. You could tell they love what they do for our little fur babies. The overall cost came in lower than I was quoted and she ended up needing 6 teeth pulled which I thought would require more money. but it didn't and they were already Significantly more adorable than others vets in my area. I don't want to use the word cheaper because we got 5 star care at this price. Tell them, "Sweetie Bean" (I adopted her with the name and sweet she is just that, so I kept the name) sent you because she is a happy patient too. Thank you to all the staff. We needed a vet during our four months in Park City and a friend from dog park recommended Arcadia. Fast forward a few years later and it's time to compliment them for their excellent practice. I've taken our dogther Scout there many times for various reasons, and she's been seen by 2 different vets. Both have been terrific, and the prices are reasonable compared to what we pay during our months in Southern California. As full-time RVers it was difficult to find a veterinarian who would clean my dogs teeth. Everyone wanted a week+ notice and required a full check up prior to cleaning. Not Arcadia Veterinary Clinic. They were so flexible they got my dog in next day and didn't require extra costly add-ons like the check up. I was so impressed with the facility, professionalism and customer service, I had them clean teeth for both my dogs. Plus it was amazingly affordable. Vet told my wife he assumed we would not be able to pay for treatment because we are staying in are 5th Wheel. Don't care how good or bad of a vet he is that is just unprofessional. I didn't know a almost 100K fifth wheel was trashy ‍ will not be going back to this judgmental place. Also not the cleanest place and receptionist was also rude. One of my Labrador retrievers started limping inexplicably after a hike. His paw was inflamed, hot to the touch and all he could do was whimper in pain--he stopped eating and drinking and I grew extremely concerned. I called Arcadia Veterinary Clinic and they arranged for an appointment that SAME DAY. Trent Williams and Rustin examined my dog and did so in a gentle, compassionate and thorough manner. After ruling out a fracture (without order reams of costly X-rays) they concluded it was an infection and prescribed a course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories and took the time to explain how to administer them and what to look for over the next few days. I am so happy to say that one day later Jack's limp has mostly subsided and he's back to begging for treats and happily munching anything bearing the semblance of food. I am truly thankful for the quick, professional, compassionate and very cost effective treatment of my animal by the team at Arcadia. They went the extra mile for me and my dog. read more

We were traveling through Utah with our senior dogs when one developed an infection in a tooth. I called Arcadia Vet Clinic and asked if they could perform a dental treatment on our Bella. They were kind enough to get us right in and in the decades of dental treatments I have had for my dogs, I have never seen one so complete. Each tooth had a rating. Considering Bella is at least 15 years old (a rescue), it's always a risk to go under anesthesia so going to a strange clinic was a concern for us but it needed to be done. We felt we were treated like Bella had been a patient there her whole life - they were caring and concerned even doing a follow up call the next day to see how she was doing. Absolutely TERRIBLE experience in an already terrible situation! No words can even describe how hard the decision is to have to put your best friend down let alone deal with a vet with absolutely no compassion! Supposed to be quick & relatively painless for the dog let alone what the owners are going through & this was not my 1st time. I scheduled pre-paid the week prior to not drag out the process. Appointment was 3:15, I waited with my best friend of almost 15 years in my arms, kids were running, screaming, wanting to pet him, answer questions to everyone while I'm crying holding him acting like it was okay. 3:30 when we finally had a room. I filled out the paperwork & still somehow had to go over it again. The assistant finally sedated him with valium but for my dog this doesn't last long & in a recent call to the vet weeks earlier, I had told them valium doesn't work for him & only makes him more anxious. I was told when you are ready, open the door & the vet will be right in. Knowing valium only works for maybe 5-10 minutes, once he was asleep & calm on the table a few minutes later, I opened the door. About 10 minutes later no one had come in & he had woken up & was about to fall off the table pissed that he had been sedated. I had to pick him up & try to calm him down all while he is fighting with me in my arms. About 20 minutes later, I entered the back room & literally NO one was to be found!!! I kept going in the back area walking around looking for someone & to the front where a friend was waiting for me asking WTF was going on???!!! 45 MINUTES later, 4:12 the vet finally walks in with a myriad of excuses; "were tying to get caught up & they were busy." I immediately lost my mind... I am here to put my best friend down & I have to wait 45 minutes when I made an appointment for this & took care of everything the week before to not have to deal with a long traumatic process??!!! I'm complaining to Dr Pickett about waiting & having to see him here suffering because he woke up from being sedated; "well he would have done it anyway" was his response!!!!! "He wouldn't have done it if you came in 5 minutes later when he was asleep & peaceful not knowing what was happening & I had to stand here with him in my arms for 30 or so MINUTES seeing him & watching him SUFFER!!!!!" I yelled at Dr Pickett! By the time he was finally injected the valium had worn off so much that he was screaming & trying to bite the vet... I wish he had bite him & bite him hard for putting him through this torture! I literally wanted to walk out the door & take him somewhere else because I couldn't stand to see him suffer anymore, but what am I supposed to do, I'm here to put my best friend down, we are halfway through the process, I'm going to just put him in the car drive back to Park City with tears streaming down my face & try & find someone else??!! Absolutely no one should ever have to deal with this while already going through this tough time! Shame on Arcadia Veterinary & Dr Pickett for making this an absolutely horrific experience for the both of us!!! If they were so damn busy a phone call to delay the appointment or even the day was all they needed to do!!! read more

I was vacationing in Utah, and our cat needed a vet. We have a great vet back home, and asked for a referral from a trusted source. We were directed to Arcadia, and were not disappointed. They got us in right away. Office staff was efficient and easy to work with, the vet was personable, and took time to explain what he was seeing. Charges were reasonable. Pet feeling better within 24 hours. A very good experience. I'd go back any time. read more

The secretary decided that she didn't like my mother and she wouldn't answer the phone for her. One of our horses was on the edge of dying from colic and the woman was so rude. Of course my mother was in a very frazzled state, WHO WOULDN'T BE, and the lady hung up the phone. As my mother tried to call back she wouldn't answer the phones. One minute later my father called the clinic and she answered the phone promptly. This is some of the worst staff anyone could have. As we called friends to see if anyone new of a vet that was available multiple people commented on how rude, awful, and inconceivably unhelpful this woman was!
