A nice little place for ice cream between Manistee and Frankfort. The place has a lot of charm. Inside is decorated with antique signs and an old gas pump. Has a feel of stepping back in time to the 60's. They have a large variety of Ice Cream, with some unique flavors. Plus plenty of other options. I ordered a chocolate shake from Hard ice cream. It was very good. Honestly it wasn't in top 10 or anything. That being said if your hungry for ice cream I recommend stopping here. Overall a 4 star review. Would I return? Yes I would.

Stopped on our tour of Lake Michigan because it was easy on and off. We couldn't tell what brand of ice cream was being served. No signage anywhere. The ordering process took forever, the cashiers seemed very flustered, and it's a good thing we weren't in a hurry. When my husband and I received our scoops, despite having ordered the same size mine was significantly bigger than his. We wouldn't really recommend stopping here when there are so many other ice cream options.

    Nice roadside stand.

Absolutely wonderful ice cream. It says homemade and it tastes like it. About 25 flavors. Just an easy pull off from M-22. Had the banana pudding and the cherry flavor. Outstanding. We try ice cream every time we see it and this was a winner. Fair prices and friendly staff. Loved this ice cream.

Such a cute, old fashioned ice cream shop. We almost skipped on it because it looked closed but I'm glad we went in and had some ice cream - great selection of flavors and wonderful quality! Can't wait to stop in again. (Ps - I had the raspberry chocolate and its to die for!)

Awesome old fashioned ice cream shop. So many awesome flavored, and home made waffle cones you can smell when you walk in. The staff was very friendly and nice. Would recommend if in the Arcadia area! Their summer hours are different than on the door, I believe open 12pm-9pm.

    Super cute

We had Cherries Moobilee. It had plenty of cherries, chunks of brownie, with a chocolate swirl. We had a small, but it was very generous. There were a variety of favors. I wish I had room for more. There were a few tables indoors and outdoor seating at picnic tables on a deck overlooking the farm. The service was quick, and workers were helpful. You may have to seek it out, but it is worth the effort. I would definitely recommend Moomers.

The lengthy line moved quickly with an efficient process by the staff. An ice cream flight ($10?) was ordered. Five flavors were chosen. Each was about half a scoop I would say. The flavors I tried are below. Most of the ice cream was fulfilling, but not as creamy as I would have thought being homemade. Black Cherry - This was black cherry ice cream with pieces of Michigan cherry pieces. This was plain and did not really taste like anything except for the cherry pieces. Cherries Moobilee - This was black cherry ice cream with chocolate fudge swirl, brownie chunks, and black cherry chunks. Again, the ice cream was plain, but the pieces of everything else helped overcome that a little bit. Cherry Pie a La Mode - This was vanilla ice cream with cherry swirl and pie pieces. This was my favorite. The cherry swirl combined with the small pie pieces made for an appealing treat. Butter Pecan - This again just lacked flavor besides the pecan pieces. Lemon Raspberry - This was lemon ice cream with a raspberry swirl. This was just not good at all. The lemon did not taste like lemon at all, and there was hardly any raspberry. Even with a small portion, I would expect the swirl to be in every bite. Will I go back? Debatable.
