Not our Elks club but a friend was coming to their Superbowl party so we decided to come here. Super great group of people here, but that is normal for Elk's clubs. We really enjoyed ourselves. It was a potluck type offering but you could also have your own stuff. Everyone was very shareful and kind to us strangers. Then again, we brought 12 persons. I would definitely come back. Attended a Veteran outreach event here. Please note: VERY LIMITED PARKING, few ADA spaces and street parking but only if you afe ambulatory. Older building, bit of a time capsule - that's part of the appeal. It was definitely appropriate venue for this event despite parking challenges. I don't know how to compare bingo halls as I don't have any experience other than bar or fundraising, drag bingos. Hardcore bingo....as in gambling bingo vs bar trivia/bingo nights winning free stuff. You pay to gamble. Front door requires patience in knocking/doorbell. Highly recommend coming with people who know what they are doing. It's way more complicated than regular bingo. Concentration is needed. Go early!! Think I got there at 5pm? And got maybe the 2nd to last parking spot. First game at 630pm (get your food, drinks, restroom in before then!). $16 Admission pack. Many people spend around $60 for their own starter pack, and then continue to buy more whey I call, lottery scratcher tickets. It's mostly filled with seniors here. Birthdays are done here for it. Cheap food!!! At and half way point, there's even cheaper food offered. I was lucky enough to experience all this from a friend for her dad's bday bingo. Located in an historic building/older. There are restrooms. Staff were nice but everything is intimidating...people are very very serious about the game. I guess I would be if I spent as much, but I got the starter pack. read more

I would like to share my experiences that led me to decide not to come back here for a while. I started returning to this place when Michael stopped working there. He was rude to players, unfriendly, and made his own rules. He also flirted with older women, which was inappropriate. His presence took the fun out of this place. When he left, the atmosphere felt lighter and more enjoyable, knowing that nobody would annoy me anymore. Two weeks ago, they hired a new caller. This person makes a lot of mistakes and also creates his own rules. He doesn't know how to call the power balls correctly and is very rude to players. During one game, they forgot to drop the balls, and the players noticed it. He kept announcing that if players notice anything wrong, they should not wait until the game is over. He said it in a way that seemed to blame the players. Linda, who I believe is the manager, also said the same thing. This doesn't apply to me and my friends because we usually sit at the back and can't see the balls from there. However, in my opinion, the players have no responsibility for this; it is purely the caller's mistake. He also complained about the machines making noises. If he doesn't like the noise, they shouldn't sell machines, just papers. He also uses the microphone to flirt with a woman named Carol, which is inappropriate. Another bad experience I had was a few weeks ago when a player complained about how they plan to pay the double 1199 game. In my opinion, the player was correct, and no taxes should be collected. This is how other halls operate. The person from the kitchen, who I believe is also involved with management, cursed at the player and yelled at him. That is very unprofessional. You can tell that the managers have zero customer service experience. They keep encouraging us to invite more people, but if players are treated like this, why would we? If you have had any bad experiences like mine, I encourage you not to come back here and to spread the word. Use social media to post reviews so fellow players won't waste their money on this place. We spend a lot of money and do not deserve this kind of service. If you are new and planning to come here, please consider this before coming. read more

0 stars if I could. My family chose this venue for my aunts reception after her funeral service. Do not recommend for high stress situations especially on a hot day. (100 in the valley ) inside is sweltering even with the air on. Security does not allow water bottles which is understandable there's rules & bar rules. My youngest niece was unaware and walked in with a sealed Aquafina water bottle, security then followed her to her table and proceeded to scold her like she was a grown man. She froze in fear so i intervened where he then proceeded to reiterate rules which I comprehended but voiced my feelings on his tone and how to speak to minors. Tone has a lot to do with how you speak to people. It ended in an argument and him stomping off back to the bar. I highly recommend Villa Catrina down the street amazing customer service & support and more importantly air conditioning. Never again. read more

Local bingo!! Last week I played for the first time and it's not as simple as I expected, lol. Buy in is $16 for 17 or 18 rounds and each round winner takes $250. When we arrived you can totally tell that the crowd was wondering where we came from. It was full of dedicated bingo players with mounds of trinkets aka good luck charms. Funny and very entertaining. Everyone there was a regular and serious about it. We actually left towards the end because I was so tired. Sitting there for 3 hours was too much for me! This week I will try the early bird game, which only lasts about 30 minutes. Game night!!! read more

Went to an event - lounge rental (which was high hundreds) and cash bar. Bartender served all of our $4.25 beers in plastic cups. All of the lodge members sat at the bar (in the lounge) throughout our private event and were served in glasses. When we asked about it the bartender said it was because we were paying a special rate for our beers that was cheaper than the lodge members. A lodge member snickered and whispered that his "special rate" was 50% of what we were paying. Throughout our event lodge members continued watching a basketball game (with sound on) on tvs at the bar and continued quietly chatting, including during the speeches, including making comments regarding the content of the speeches which were clearly audible to people in attendance. We had our wedding here on November 9, 2019. There are not enough words to express how exceptional the staff was, from the ladies who opened the doors and helped us set up to the bartenders and the security guard. We had a steampunk themed wedding and Jorge decorated the room beautifully. Our guest were amazed at the transformation of the room. We were not able to decorate the day before due to a previous event but Evan and Josh accommodated our every need. The price of the venue was a very good deal and we will use the lodge for any large parties we plan in the future. As with any big event, communication is key and there was never a text or phone call that went unanswered. We cannot thank the staff enough for all their help and kindness. Thank you again! I'm here at the Elk lodge for a fundraiser. Upon walking inside I immediately felt a cool vibe which was nice for an Elks Lodge. The beer was very inexpensive and the live band was outstanding!!! I recommend the Elks Lodge for any occasion !!! read more

Hosted a 50th birthday party for my husband in January of 2015, and could not have been more pleasantly and happily surprised. From my initial meeting with Josh the manager, to the close of the night, I could not have had better customer service. The location was perfectly sized, bar was sufficiently staffed and stocked, our band and DJ had easy access to the stage, there was sufficient seating throughout, and easy, porch access for our taco guy! Josh was exceptionally helpful in answering all questions and making our guests happy! What a hidden, affordable little hideaway! Would absolutely recommend it and would use it again!! read more

Celebrated my wedding here one week ago and everything turned out better than my husband and I thought. We loved this hall since the day that we went to see it for the first time. We thought that it was going to be a lot more expensive, but to our surprise the price was much better than other places that are not as nice as this one. This place is nice, big and clean. Josh, the manager was very helpful and patient with all our questions and concerns. They have a nice bar that met all of our guests expectations. We're having another party here on October and we're sure we'll be renting it many more times. Try it out, you won't be disappointed! read more
