That's fine if you're looking for museums, but not so great if you're looking for restaurants. We ended up in an almost-dead-end at the rear of a hospital. The only exit was through an archway into a tiny park. On the far side of that was a road across the stream which runs through the town. It was at that point that we found Le Garde Manger. The menu listed one that included 'gizzards' (which apparently is a regional favorite here) but I opted to go gizzard-free. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was a very pleasant dining experience in the heart of the historic area of Bayeux. I'd consider returning here if I were in the area.
