He was very joyful treating all of his customers as old friends. We visited this place for lunch given it's was highly rated for seafood in both TripAdvisor and Google. The kitchen closes at 2pm so make sure you arrive before that time. We arrived around 1:45pm and the outside seating was almost full. Decided to eat inside in the shade because of the strong sun. We started with the goat cheese salad and I highly recommend ordering it! The goat cheese and the bread which was under it were both hot which made them more delicious. Also the salad came with two cheese breaded sticks and they were good as well. For main course we shared two fish dishes I believe both of them were sea bass (the menu is in french and owner son was very helpful translating the dishes for us). They were both good but the one that came with vegetables was the better choice due to the sauce it came with. The sauce gave the fish a bit of depth in terms of taste. Overall would highly recommend this place for seafood if you are in Le Havre.

This is a small, simple, bustling and quaint little place. We were seated quickly and comfortably with another couple from our tour. The service was friendly and quick and our waiter was gracious enough to explain some of the items on the French menu. L'Envie offered that day a prix fixe lunch with a choice of several appetizers, entrees, and desserts. I chose to have the onion tarte, the boeuf bourguignon, and the passion fruit panna cotta. The onion tarte was divine, the bourguignon was delicious, and the panna cotta exquisite. It was a nice, relaxed, enjoyable experience. Afterwards we walked to Le Vieux Bassin (a small port in this little harbor) and then headed off to Normandy. Superb eating, beautiful weather, relaxed walk! Perfect day for a foodie in France!! Had I looked more closely I could have ordered the Prime Rib of beef instead, but our meal was delicious anyway.
