If your animals needs care that is expensive - like almost anything there is - they refuse to offer their own payment plan. You either have Care Credit or you pay their horrendous prices in full. From our puppies first wellness visit to the end of life care for our 20+ year old cocker mix; from spaying/neutering to major surgery; from routine vaccines to caring for our dog with cancer; we have been through it all with Dr. Wildenstein and the wonderful staff at Adana. They really do provide care, comfort and compassion to not only our dogs, but to us as well. We would recommend Dr. Wildenstein and the staff at Adana Veterinary Clinic to anyone looking for a veterinarian, without reservation! They are simply the best! Karl and Deb Oltz

This review pertains to reception staff only. I did not interact with the veterinarian. My purpose…read moreis to forewarn prospective clients that the individual with whom I interacted lacked compassion and communicated no empathy toward me. I recently called Adana's office to arrange for cremation of my cat (20 y/o) who had died at home the previous night. Following is a summary of my exchange with the staff member who picked up my call. They did not identify themselves. - I gave my name and explained my business - The staff member offered no condolences and asked quite abruptly, "Did you prepare the body?" - When I asked what they meant, they asked whether I had put the body in the freezer. - I had not thought to do that - In a belligerent tone, the staff member then asked whether I was telling them that I had left "the animal" out all this time with all the heat blowing around on "it" - I explained that I had wrapped him in a towel and placed him in a box in a spare bedroom - Again very abruptly I was instructed that I could not bring "the animal" (my sweet kitty who gave only purrs and cuddles his whole life) in through the front and that I must go in and pay first then drive around to the back of the clinic and they would pick "it" up there. My motivation for writing about this conversation was to prepare others for the kind of staff treatment they could expect at Adana. I cannot begin to imagine how toxic this person would have been to a pet owner newly devastated by the loss of a beloved companion. I hasten to add that the reception staff with whom I interacted in-person later that day were empathetic, gentle, and kind, and I felt that my furry family member of 20 years had been left in competent hands.

Dr. Claire Berian is best known for her mobile veterinary services. She did a great job, the animals weren't stressed at all, and neither was I. Recently, I hired her to come to the house to give my senior dog euthanasia. It's never a great day when you have to make that decision, but she was kind and caring. She made sure that my dog did not have one single moment of anxiety - which is all that counts, really. The process was quiet and efficient. I can't recommend her highly enough. She also followed up with one of the kindest condolence notes ever. My own siblings didn't even bother with an email.

Before your appointment, they will request medical records from your current primary veterinarian. The initial waiting time in the lobby was very short, a couple minutes tops. For all of the examinations and samples, they took our cat to a separate room and had us wait in the lobby (this was a dermatology visit). They did this twice because after their findings they wanted to discuss extra tests. The staff were very friendly and informative. In total, the visit took 1.5 hours, likely because it's a teaching facility and we needed a few tests. But to me it didn't feel that long. So far I'm satisfied with the care our cat has received here!

First, my rating is based on the quality of the grooming my dog has received there. What I liked is…read morethat the cut was always a solid cut. They keep notes in their computer so you know what you had done last time and can alter it accordingly or just say 'the usual'. Key parts that I liked were special attention to cleaning hair out of the ears, a sanitary trim that was short but not shaved (so there was no irritation), well shaped body trim, extra care to trim up the paws, and a nice touch of leaving long eye lashes. Prices do seem a bit higher than I would expect, but I like the work that they do. Finally, the reason I said this was based on the grooming is because the parking lot, building, and entry area makes you rethink your decision to take your dog there. No Barks About It is part of a strip mall with seemingly half the places abandoned and a parking lot with large pot holes. The drop-off entry area is just barren of anything that makes you feel warm and fuzzy about dropping off your pet there. Maybe some nicer chairs with a table and some magazines? It's just so cavernous it feels weird.

Went and paid to have my dog evaluated and was told that my dog was not a good fit as he was too…read morefearful. My pup is 7 months old and spent the first 3 months of his life in a puppy mill. Since I work full time, he needs to be socialized during the day with other dogs as opposed to being in a crate and play with different dogs than my other two at home. Isn't the point of doggie day care to help with socialization and get exercise for a pup that is otherwise crated during the day? When I noticed that they noted that he was 2 years as opposed to 7 months I called and spoke to someone who then said that sometimes pups regress at this age and other things and they proceeded to tell me that there are other day cares that might be a better fit. That right there ended the conversation for me, obviously they only want specific perfect dogs and not those that may need some help. They want the easy dogs and have enough dogs going where they felt they did not needed my business. I would never bring a dog to them with that attitude, it does not speak favorably of them. As a side note, I work with several different rescues as a foster home and have fostered over 20 puppy mill releases and taught them how to be real dogs and placed them in great homes, my other dogs at home are rescues as well. I have worked with dog behavior specialists and have an understanding of dog behavior.
