Serc made a horrible first impression, when I called to confirm, I found out they scheduled me at this location instead of the one closest to my house.it would've been embarrassing, if I showed up, on time, at the wrong location, given the 4 stars. I went to this location, in apprehension. But I was met with the nicest people. I have Callie as a physical therapist. She worked my shoulder for 45 minutes.i felt like i'd had deep tissue massage. I laid on a therapy table, and allowed her (sometimes painfully) to pull and stretch my arm. She gave me exercises to do at home, and I'm thrilled to be going back next Thursday. If you need a physical therapist, this is a good place to check out. Just be precise what location you are being scheduled.

They went above & beyond ensuring my injury bruising was taken care of, not just the injury; it had settled and remained in my bicep and they were able to use medical tape to lift my skin and allow the blood to dissipate. I recommend and urge anyone who needs or wants PT to schedule with them. They not only inform you of what they are doing and why; but to also ensure you get the best of care, they discuss among themselves the best treatment plan for your needs. I had hit a plateau and the individual I was working with did not hesitate to refer to the other specialists for their suggestions. That is an example of excellent care and treatment by providers. The group works well together to ensure your health is their top priority. I am an older handicapped woman who uses a cane and wheelchair to get around. My old chair is over…read more6 years old and so my doctor ordered me a new one. I was told by the NuMotion company that I had to get another PT evaluation and to go to Blue Ridge Therapy for an evaluation. My first appointment arrived during a HUGE snow storm so I called to reschedule. It is very dangerous for me to try to walk far let alone on a slippery sidewalk. They were not happy when I called to reset the appointment but reset it with me for two weeks out. They said there wasn't anything sooner. When my second appointment came due, again we were hit with another huge snow storm and the snow was coming down in sheets and the roads and schools were closing. I called again to reset, explaining that I cannot drive in this or walk in this... and the woman was very nasty with me. I explained it was dangerous for me to get out in this even in my car, let alone try to navigate the snow and ice. I also explained that my husband had just got home from the hospital from surgery and also cannot walk around. Again she was hateful but reset me again for another two weeks out. The day my appointment came the weather was fine so I went. They had me filling out extended therapy paperwork and I explained I was only there for a wheelchair evaluation at the request of the wheelchair provider who said I needed it before my insurance would authorize it. They told me everyone has to fill out that paperwork. I did it even tho I knew it had absolutely NOTHING to do with why I was even there. They also said I had a copay due immediately of $55.00 and she needs to collect that up front, and I told the woman that I have had the same insurance for over 10 years and not once have I been charged for an evaluation, and she told me they charge for a specialist copay. I still didn't believe that especially when my copay for a specialist is a set $50.00 not $55... I told them I was going to check with my insurance company because I have had misunderstandings on coverage in the past so I needed to verify that. So I called my insurance company while I was sitting in their lobby. The receptionist kept interrupting my conversation with the insurance representative who was telling me that I did NOT need a physical evaluation in the first place and that my wheelchair had already been approved over a month ago. The ladies at the front desk kept talking over my conversation speaking loudly across the room in front of other patients in their lobby. The ladies not only violated my HIPPA rights by discussing the treatment they said I needed , and spoke including my personal information, etc.., but they were rude, hateful, argumentative, and extremely unprofessional during my phone conversation. So much so that the lady at Humana heard every word they said to me they were so loud. They argued that I needed it to get my approval and that my insurance company was wrong, and I would have to come back, and kept interrupting as the insurance rep kept trying to give me the APPROVAL authorization number. I was so upset by the end that my husband who escorted me there advised that I just leave after the lady from Humana said the same thing to me. We decided to leave and I calmly thanked the ladies for their time on the way out. When I got to my car another woman from their office had followed me out and wanted to know what was going on. I only told her how rude and unprofessional her people were and that perhaps they should provide more training for their front desk personnel. It was the craziest experience I have ever had in all my years. I agree with the other people leaving reviews for this place... It IS all about the money.

I don't often write reviews, and what I had always heard about Centerpoint was very critical so I feel compelled to share our story. The nurses were amazing and I always felt like they took the time to listen. I have been in healthcare for 13 years and have never met a better group. Little things and details do make a difference, and I want to recognize them for it. Debbie made us feel so comfortable and cared for, even came back after her shift ended to see our baby daughter and congratulate us. Lauren was so thoughtful and efficient, thinking of things we might need that we had not even asked for during our stay like extra blankets, taking our trash and restocking items, discharge planning and so much more, THANK YOU. Lisa was the nurse who took our daughters measurements. Her gentle touch, calm and loving demeanor created such a warm atmosphere. Emily took exceptional care of us the day after birth, was on top of every concern and even made the blood draw for my wife (she hates needles) a breeze. I realize that every day is different, but you can't fake a team that knows what they are doing, that works hard and really cares. I would also like to recognize all of the food staff for amazing meals, EVERYTIME. We liked it all and were shocked by the number of choices and the high-quality dishes that were prepared. It was much appreciated. I have no reservations about recommending to my friends and if we have another baby would plan to choose Centerpoint.

I went to the Advanced Sports and Family Chiropractic in Raytown on Friday 9/4/26. I saw Dr…read more Denton. I explained that I had a pinched nerve before and an adjustment released it. The Chiropractor I had been with moved his practice far away. She refused to adjust me. She asked me why I looked the way I did as she communicated a bill of 120. with no adjustment included. I told her I wondered why I was being charged the amount and if I was being over charged. She suggested I leave. She said I was argumentative and stated that I argued with the receptionist, hung up, and called back. I tried my best to explain she was mistaken and it wasn't me. The receptionist was pleasant and I reciprocated. I had a pinched nerve. She made me stand for an Xray in excruciating pain. She went on and on about not adjusting me. She said something about me coming back Tuesday. The receptionist or whomever manned the front desk. Put gel on my back and used a machine that looked like an ultra sound. It did little to nothing. I left still in excurciating pain. It cost 49 dollars for an xray. 21 dollars for the xray to be read. 49 more dollars for the gel on my back and about 7 minutes of a machine that looked like an ultra sound. I made an appt for the next day to get adjusted which was going to cost more money. They wouldn't tell me how much. I left Friday 9/4/26 still in excruciating pain. Dr. Denton treated me so badly and uncaring I was afraid to get an adjustment from her. But I was so desparate and at her mercy. I made an appt. and hoped she would adjust me. I went to the joint Dr. the next morning 9/5/26 after they called me. I registered with them on line Friday. I chose Dr. Denton's office because their reviews were good and they promised help on the website. The joint Dr. adjusted me. He was kind and made me feel not afraid, though I was in a lot of pain. I had to pay another 120 dollars. But, I got the first visit, relief from the pain, and 6 more visits for that price. 9/5/26 The joint Dr. adjusted me and I was able to put weight on my right leg.
