This is the first time in my 48 years of life that I've EVER written an online review…read more Let me start by saying that Tyler is absolutely amazing!!!! The work, time, dedication and his effort in going above and beyond with my son has been nothing short of spectacular! EXOS/Boost should be grateful to have him! It started with my son having a back injury after his senior year of football and his doctor recommended physical therapy to get him ready for playing college ball. We started at BOOST Physical Therapy in April. My son was improving so quickly and making great strides through the physical therapy process with Tyler that we shifted into the sports performance training for 3 to 4 visits a week for the entire summer until football started in August. When December rolled around, I purchased 5 sessions for my nephew to train with Tyler for track as a Christmas gift. Once again, Tyler was amazing and improved his speed and technique so much that he purchased more sessions and is still seeing Tyler for sports performance until his season starts. I told my son that I was writing my first review and he said "Quote me, Mom!" So here it is... "Improved my 40 time from 4.85 to 4.67, my vertical from 29 to 34, all while gaining 15 lbs. Tyler takes time to understand every athlete's body individually and improve all categories of movement while teaching you the technique and the method behind it". Thank you Tyler!

Aiden and Tiffany, serving in the ER, are outstanding examples of what you can expect in the ER and elsewhere throughout the hospital. Nurses Enrique, Michelle and Makayla Top Notch caregivers on the 4th Floor N Unit. The professional technicians: Richard and Arlene [portable X-Ray team] Mary in the CT Scan area, Austin who conducted my small bowel follow through and WENDY Ultra Sound operator extraordinaire !!! from the Imaging Department cannot be surpassed. One of the housekeeping crew is so sweet! Milinda was super - - dedicated to her work and engaging with those hospitalized. On another note - - the hospital food is VERY good! Kudos to the kitchen crew and Bernadette who delivered my meals. I was particularly impressed with the treatment rendered by Dr. Mattias D'Anna. Dr. Mattias D'Anna is a hospitalist at CenterPoint Medical Center. He has called on me on two of my separate hospitalizations. He's kind, knowledgeable and a wonderful communicator. He has a gift for using layman's terms to explain medical conditions, their impact on my wellness and how best to move forward. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I am an older handicapped woman who uses a cane and wheelchair to get around. My old chair is over…read more6 years old and so my doctor ordered me a new one. I was told by the NuMotion company that I had to get another PT evaluation and to go to Blue Ridge Therapy for an evaluation. My first appointment arrived during a HUGE snow storm so I called to reschedule. It is very dangerous for me to try to walk far let alone on a slippery sidewalk. They were not happy when I called to reset the appointment but reset it with me for two weeks out. They said there wasn't anything sooner. When my second appointment came due, again we were hit with another huge snow storm and the snow was coming down in sheets and the roads and schools were closing. I called again to reset, explaining that I cannot drive in this or walk in this... and the woman was very nasty with me. I explained it was dangerous for me to get out in this even in my car, let alone try to navigate the snow and ice. I also explained that my husband had just got home from the hospital from surgery and also cannot walk around. Again she was hateful but reset me again for another two weeks out. The day my appointment came the weather was fine so I went. They had me filling out extended therapy paperwork and I explained I was only there for a wheelchair evaluation at the request of the wheelchair provider who said I needed it before my insurance would authorize it. They told me everyone has to fill out that paperwork. I did it even tho I knew it had absolutely NOTHING to do with why I was even there. They also said I had a copay due immediately of $55.00 and she needs to collect that up front, and I told the woman that I have had the same insurance for over 10 years and not once have I been charged for an evaluation, and she told me they charge for a specialist copay. I still didn't believe that especially when my copay for a specialist is a set $50.00 not $55... I told them I was going to check with my insurance company because I have had misunderstandings on coverage in the past so I needed to verify that. So I called my insurance company while I was sitting in their lobby. The receptionist kept interrupting my conversation with the insurance representative who was telling me that I did NOT need a physical evaluation in the first place and that my wheelchair had already been approved over a month ago. The ladies at the front desk kept talking over my conversation speaking loudly across the room in front of other patients in their lobby. The ladies not only violated my HIPPA rights by discussing the treatment they said I needed , and spoke including my personal information, etc.., but they were rude, hateful, argumentative, and extremely unprofessional during my phone conversation. So much so that the lady at Humana heard every word they said to me they were so loud. They argued that I needed it to get my approval and that my insurance company was wrong, and I would have to come back, and kept interrupting as the insurance rep kept trying to give me the APPROVAL authorization number. I was so upset by the end that my husband who escorted me there advised that I just leave after the lady from Humana said the same thing to me. We decided to leave and I calmly thanked the ladies for their time on the way out. When I got to my car another woman from their office had followed me out and wanted to know what was going on. I only told her how rude and unprofessional her people were and that perhaps they should provide more training for their front desk personnel. It was the craziest experience I have ever had in all my years. I agree with the other people leaving reviews for this place... It IS all about the money.

From changing her explanations to better fit my understanding, to remembering random little bits we talked about last week, I really left there feeling like she was a friend as well as a therapist. I was discharged today, ahead of schedule, largely because of her. I recommend she be given a raise, a company car, and a vacation.
