I usually visit him all tense and preoccupied and grouchy, but I leave relaxed and peaceful. I'm like a better version of myself after each session! It's kind of amazing. He specializes in Thai massage, which I've experienced with him before, but I am a Swedish massage person, so that's what I usually request of him. I've gone to the standard massage places you see in every strip mall and they don't properly address your issues, they don't talk to you, and they honestly do more damage than good as far as a massage goes. My therapist, Cameron, has a nice, welcoming and peaceful set up. I sought out orthopedic massage in efforts to help with my plantar fasciitis, and so far, I can tell a difference after my sessions. I have been doing 90-minute targeted sessions, and while I would love to do them weekly, they are running me about $190 per session, which makes it a bit tough to do consistently on that cadence. Additionally, while I truly enjoy Cameron, he is very passionate and loves to talk all things massage, and conversations are part of the time, so I am there for 90 minutes, but only tend to have hands on about 70 of those. They are appointment only, which is fine, however there is no waiting room or check in process alerting them/him of your arrival. The front door remains locked, and while there is a bell, Cameron confirmed that he cannot hear it in his office, so I have arrived on time, but tend to wait outside longer than preferred. Not the end of the world, but a bit annoying. Overall, I appreciate what Cameron has been able to do for me. He is very knowledgeable, good with his hands and wildly passionate about his craft. He makes you feel comfortable, takes the time needed and puts in the work. I will definitely be back.
