I asked Tony the owner of ARC Locksmith service to repair my seized 1972 Datsun 240Z ignition lock and cut two new keys. He disassembled the cylinder, cleaned and installed new Nissan tumblers and cut two new keys to match. Very few locksmiths today have the skills, tools, and parts to accomplish such a difficult job. Unfortunately trusted this company & soon found out the hard way that you shouldn't trust every "professional". This company came out to reprogram a key for my car. Tyler their technician damaged my vehicle while removing the computer & then didn't hook the battery to my car back up correctly causing me an additional $1000 for my car to get a new alternator as the battery drew from it opposed to the actual battery due to a bad connection. Upon having the car directly towed to a shop they showed me where the technician Tyler never tightened down the battery. This company and its owner Tony Aguilar has yet to call me after multiple attempts to reach him to make the situation right. Going to be speaking with an attorney to hold them accountable as I believe they are attempting to avoid taking responsibility for these damages to my vehicle. read more

The lock on our side door broke. When I tried to gain access, the key would just keep turning and not disengage the lock. As this was the only key I had to access my house, I had to call a locksmith. When I called I was greeted with great customer service. The gentlemen gathered the details and informed me what he thought the problem might be. He then gave me estimated cost and additional incidentals if the first solution didn't fix what he thought was wrong. Upon his arrival he was able to fix our lock and then I had him rekey the lock to match garage door, so that only one key was needed for entry to the house. My car key was lost and I only had that 1 for it. Called up there and was warmly greeted. He offered to come to my house to get the key made for my car since obviously I couldn't drive it up there without the key and I didn't want to have to pay for a tow truck. He arrived within an hour of the call and got everything taken care of. He was very patient with the fact that my car battery wasn't strong enough to be able get him the information he needed in order to make the key. He had jumper cables handy in his van and connected it to my battery charger. After waiting for it to charge up he had no issues making my new key! He did the whole job right there in my driveway in his van. He told us we didn't have to wait outside as it was very cold. We got a ring on the doorbell about 25 minutes later saying he completed the job. He started my car with my permission to make sure it worked. He turned it off and on again and again to ensure it would work. Payment was very simple as he had a card scanner handy with him. This is the only Yelp review I've ever made and specifically made my account just for this review because he deserves some recognition.
