It's Butterbees, it's a chain and basically just a smidge above fast food so, we weren't expecting anything other than what we had. What we had was ok. The service was very good. Well, saw the first person and yelled to get her attention. Did she come over to apologize? No. She just started telling someone else that some guy had waited 10 minutes and was mad. That's when things started happening. What I assume to be the manager (and took payment for my food) came over and apologized but didn't offer an explanation. She couldn't refund my credit card payment for some reason (tried but was having issues with the cash register) and just gave me cash back. I had overheard them talking about giving me the food for free but frankly, I wasn't in the mood for it. Went to Wendy's and was out with my food within a minute. The Coke was flat and the fries had no salt. The entire interaction was strange and awkward--the employee taking the order said maybe three words, and no one spoke to us while we paid or received our food. We went back to have the order corrected, and they got it wrong AGAIN--the burgers still had no cheese or condiments. When I finally ate them, they tasted terrible, like the beef or cheese may have been expired. I immediately felt sick and couldn't finish either burger. Even worse, an employee behind the counter had an uncovered large sweet tea, cell phone, car keys, and a HALF-SMOKED CIGARETTE sitting on the counter where my food was handed to me. The counter itself was filthy with food and condiments. This was easily the dirtiest, most incompetent restaurant experience I've ever had. Worst fast-food experience of my life.
