a menu for a fast food restaurant

We stopped by here for a dessert for my family because they wanted something sweet after our meal. I don't eat treats too much but my girls love them. They ordered a cherry turnover for each of them and none of them liked them. They were old and dry. My youngest didn't even finish hers. It crumbled all over the floor as she ate it. They said a 1 out of 5 . So I'll give this place a 2 because they got an old school Arby's sign out front which I thought was cool

I have sign up for the Arby's mobile app and email deals for coupons. My two sons' and I love to save money on our favorite places we like to eat each week. The new remodel Arby's on Clinton hwy, has the cleanest dinning room and restrooms. Tarnisha and Nancy they both make sure that my French dip and Swiss sandwich with curly fries are cooked to perfection at every visit.

Headed to a Smokies game, we chose to stop into SmashCity for a pregame burger…read more The service and burger came up quickly. I opted for the truffle smash and large fry. My buddy opted for the Spicy Smash. The burgers were mmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm great, Juicy and the bun held up. Fries were fresh and would like to see maybe a topping or poutine option for them. Cool spot to get some AC and great burger before a Smokies game or a night in the old City.

We already had 250 miles under our belt for the day. 4 more hours to home. I was sick of fast food…read moreand we were making good time so we decided to venture off the road, but just a little. SmashCity wasn't far off of the interstate, it had good ratings and although we'd been eating burgers and fries quite a bit on this roadtrip, a good burger and fries really sounded good. All of the reviews were right on - this was absolutely NOT fast food - it was fast, really fast, but the speed was just bonus. As we usually do, we split. We chose the Carolina BBQ smash. The burgers were juicy - if you're not careful, I guarantee you'll be wearing it. Two critiques, it definitely needed more sauce - I just added some of the SmashCity sauce from our fries and it worked but I really would have liked to have had more BBQ sauce. Second, the fried onions were quite burned. I pulled off most of them. The hand cut fries were piping hot, just the right amount of greasy and seasoned perfectly. Splitting the burger was a good call - I'd never have eaten the whole thing myself. The burger and fries were just over $20. When you consider a Big Mac meal at that clown place is $14, SmashCity is almost a bargain. Paul, the owner was like the energizer bunny - he was everywhere at once. Personality oozed from his pores. Make sure you tell him Sue said hi! (He won't remember me but just say hi anyway!) Now I wouldn't say SmashCity has the best burgers - that award goes to our friend Jerry. He makes a pretty mean smash burger on the blackstone. If you have an extra half hour, skip the fast food burger joints, get off that highway, and go let Paul fill your belly for the rest of your trip! You'll appreciate it!

On the road again....just can't wait to get off the road again....ok enough Willie in my brain. On…read moreour way back to Nash from Asheville NC to ski (which was fun but kind of a disaster) we were hankering for some Mexican - now mind you we are originally from Arizona where Mexican food is plentiful and authentic...not that the food here isn't authentic but we miss AZ Mexican food. I digress.... Ambiance: From the outside it isn't the most inviting place - looks like an Arby's or other fast food was here originally - however inside is decorated like any other Mexican cantina would be - colorful and bright. Service: We were seated and then attended to by our waitress..who unfortunately did not speak much English at all...so we tried to convey the drink orders and that went ok, however it was a challenge on the food - several attempts were made to convey boneless wings and fajitas and we were hoping it worked. Once we ordered someone else brought the food (bone in wings) and fajitas! So half of the order went well...however we didn't see our waitress again for over an hour...seemingly too busy speaking to friends or family on the back of the restaurant and on the register doing who knows what as it was not busy at all (maybe 2 other tables while we were there). Food: Chips and salsa were so so - chips were not hot and were kind of rubbery..Fajitas were ok, chicken was less fresh than I'm used too and the vegetables were soggy not crisp - side of beans was runny and guac was also watery. The chicken wings that my son ordered were not good...not exactly sure why as a 14 yr old can just be picky but he didn't touch them after the 1st bite even slathered in ranch - said the sauce was less than appealing. Price: High for the quality and service we experienced...could have been an off day for them as sometimes on a Sunday evening of a holiday weekend people are just done but when you run a business you just can't take your foot off the gas, Summary: Seems this may be more of a place for friends and family of the owners / staff or inlets lical clientele as we did not feel the love in service nor food quality so for me it's a pass but hey you never know... Keep Munching!

I ordered the 6 piece with crinkle fries and slaw and a 32 oz. Drink. $19 for this. A little expensive on my opinion. The tenders were not big, they were a little below average, had a bland taste, very tender, juicy but needed spice. I did like the southwest sauce that came with it. Slaw was ok, nothing to brag about. The crinkle fries were dry and thin cut, hard and crispy. Everything was hot and fresh. Would I eat here again. Uhhhh, maybe. I wasn't overly impressed.
