And it wasn't clear where the door was- drive-through, windows, and no obvious entrance. It's in a little alcove and not visible except from the rear of the lot. Or maybe I was just worn out. Inside, clean and bright, and very open. Like, half the number of tables I expected. Strange. It wasn't busy on a Saturday evening, inside anyway. And the staff were great: friendly, patient, helpful. Kid K knew what she wanted, but I am not a regular. I went with the "new" chicken tenders. They're not really new, they just went away and came back. The guy said the sauces are all new. K liked her nuggets, fries, and Frosty (small upcharge.) And of course the toy. The tenders were okay. Nothing special, a little dry, odd texture, crispy enough. The house sauce is pretty much seasoned ranch with ketchup, I think. Meh. The honey mustard was decent. The fries: I'm not a fan. Only thing I really like at McDonald's. Oh, well. They have the fancy pop machine, which is fun. Restrooms were clean. Price was reasonable. Food came up quickly. We were filled enough to get home. Not only could I not bite through it, I couldn't tear it apart with my hands either. The "manager", Melissa was arguing with another lady as she was ringing her up, and I couldn't help but overhear her smarta$$ attitude. They have some newer choices some nice stuff But it was breakfast time and I went with the double Farmer's breakfast. That basically gives you extra meat. This particular day the cook was also the manager and a whole lot more. I asked for the eggs to be soft scrambled, I also wanted the pancakes on a separate plate butter on the side. Food came out fairly quickly Quality was great Very nice sized pancakes this manager Cooks up you get your money's worth. Thoughts of the hash browns were very tasty and the sausage links and bacon were very good too I haven't been here for quite a while but I definitely if I'm hungry and I'm in the area I will stop in again park the truck and come over to eat. They still have their classic little country items there for sale candles with unique scents. Bathroom was very clean.
