I've had consistently bad experiences at this Subway location, and I finally feel the need to share…read moremy frustration. I always order the same simple wrap or flatbread: rotisserie chicken, cheese, mayo, tomatoes, and onions. That's it. Every time, I ask if they can heat the chicken with the cheese on it, and every time it's treated like I'm requesting something outrageous or not allowed. I also prefer the mayo on the chicken instead of on the vegetables, but I've repeatedly been told they "can't do that." So much for "Make It What You Want." Today was more of the same. The employee put just a few onions and four tomato slices on my wrap. When I politely asked for more onions--especially since I only get two veggies total--I was told she was "only allowed to put a limited amount on it." I explained that she barely put any on to begin with, but she still refused. I'm not asking for anything complicated or excessive. I'm just asking for a basic sandwich the way I prefer it. The lack of flexibility, the attitude, and the refusal to make simple adjustments make this one of the most frustrating Subway locations I've ever been to. At this point, I'll continue driving to Princeton or Elk River, where they have absolutely no problem preparing my order exactly as requested. The Zimmerman location could really benefit from better customer service, more flexibility, and a clearer understanding of what "customer choice" actually means.

The servers are always so sweet and prompt! The food is always good and that root beer in the mug is so cold, delicious and creamy. This place is well maintained and is just a few minutes off of 35! Nostalgia hits hard on this one...reminds me of being a kid, sitting in the backseat and leaning over the front seat of my parents car waiting to get my baby mug of root beer. Love A & W!! What bothered me is I was looking forward to a frosty mug of root beer and THEY PUT ICE IN THE MUG! That is unacceptable. If someone specifically asks for ice in a frosty mug, fine - give it to them. But by default, anybody who knows anything about A&W would not expect ice in their frosty mug! Like the old Miller Lite guy (may he rest in peace) said: "The only thing that should be in your beer is BEER!" It goes double for A&W root beer! Somebody needs to explain the tradition to the employees. I didn't complain because the establishment was getting real busy, but this needs to improve.

I wanted extra onions on my sub and was told by the staff making my sub that there is a shortage of onions because were in the middle of a pandemic! Considering that onions grow in all four seasons and everywhere I find that hard to believe!! I do know that the owner of this subway is so so so cheap! They never participate in any national subway deals! I had a friend of mine who worked there tell me the owner specifically tells her employees that they are to make the subs to the specific guidelines and never give extra toppings and if a customer asks for extra toppings they are to grab a couple extra topping and move the already placed toppings and make it appear that they have added more!! When I asked the subway employee for the store owners number I was gave no information and asked to leave! So I left and went to my next favorite place to get awesome truly delicious subs! And I returned to the this subway to show them how their competitors make their delicious subs so they can see how it's done.. they called the police on me!! I will never go to this SUBGAY EVER EVER AGAIN!! And I urge others not to be victimized by this SUBGAY!! Go to Casey's in Ogilvy it's only 8 miles away and their food is amazing and you never have to beg for extra toppings you always get it your way!
