FUN FACT: Arby's was my very first job back in the day. It wasn't the "coolest" job in the mall, but it was the first one who called and...you know, free food is everything to someone in High School, especially an athlete. That being said, you'd think that with as many self-constructed high-rise Beef 'n' Cheddar Sandwiches, piles of Curly Fries and countless Apple Turnovers that I devoured throughout that time, I'd never want to set eyes on any one of those things again. Fast forward to now and I can honestly tell you, that is ABSOLUTELY not the case. I'm not sure if it's the melty cheddar, the tangy sauce, the warm onion roll, or the soft shreds of roast beef that keep me running back, but yes, to this day....I keep running back. To those out there that say they can't stand Arby's and "wouldn't eat there if it was free,"....I've actually eaten there when it was free, and it tastes just as delicious as it does when you pay, so...more for me. This particular location is attached to my favorite Love's truck stop, so every time I drive to South Florida...and back, of course...I stop in to get my fix. Now, they don't make the monstrous heaping sandwiches that I used to cook up for myself, but that's a good thing, since I've long lost my high school metabolism. Double Beef 'n' Cheddar Combo with Curly Fries, hot Apple Turnover and a cold drink hits the spot every time. Now there has been an instance or two where the fountain station was out of ice or straws were nowhere to be found, but it wasn't a problem because they have both of those things ten steps away at Love's. It is a busy location, but the line doesn't get out of hand and they get the orders out rather quickly. There's a TV in the dining room with a news channel on so you can catch up on weather and traffic reports, which is helpful if you're travelling. They do really good things at the Arby's in Bushnell. Especially considering the fact that it's attached to a truckstop in a truckstop town. Even at 4 AM on a Wednesday morning, the service was friendly and much more than I was expecting. These guys are 24 hours, which also sets it apart. read more

Now I will say that I was pretty tired at this point of being on the road for almost 18 hours, but I did not have the best experience at this Arby's. The drive thru was really long and slow when we got in it, so I wish I would have just popped in inside. We decided to eat in the car but the moment we parked and started pulling out our sandwiches I realized that we were given the wrong order. Not wanting to get back in the drive thru lane, I went inside to explain the situation and stood around awkwardly as one of the employees was flirting with someone they knew at the counter...yes really. Once I caught someone else's attention, they helped me right away to make my whole order from scratch in a couple minutes. They said "sorry about that" and I was on my way back to the car. read more

While there was a long wait, the lady in the drive thru was incredibly helpful and kind. The food was better than other Arby's we've been to. Since we were on a road trip with a dog, we were pretty thrilled they had a mini dog park at the front. Nothing special but perfect to have a real space to let him run around and go. read more

What kind of restaurant doesn't have straws OR napkins? They're connected to a Loves. Can't they go next door to buy/borrow napkins and straws? The goofy blonde kid didn't even warn us at the speaker and let us buy milkshakes along with our drinks. Imagine eating cheesy sandwiches without napkins and drinking shakes without straws. Never know what you're going to get here. Staff is friendly, but you may or may not receive what you ordered. Hell, you may get what you ordered and it be some Frankenstein sandwich that due to lack of supply, was thrown together to pass for what you wanted. read more
