I'm usually not the biggest fan of Arby's because the location near my house in Buena Park serves their sandwiches as if someone just sat on them. Not to mention when my high school cafeteria served Arby's sandwiches at lunch, sometimes you'd notice for whatever reason that your lunch meat was green. However, after stopping by this particular location, I have to admit that my opinion on Arby's has been changed completely otherwise. I ordered a roast beef sandwich meal and was completely floored. Not only was I served with great customer service, but I was served quickly, and my food was DELICIOUS. I had originally planned to just eat my meal and leave, but I HAD to order a few extra sandwiches for my family. This particular location has great customer service (their staff is unbelievably sweet and cute!!!) , great fresh food, and it's actually a nice place to kick back and enjoy your meal. I love bringing my buddy to eat there with me, because he seriously has food orgasms eating their Market Fresh sandwiches. Tina our cashier was very rude, she acted like we were bothering her when we walked through the door. She took our order while rolling her eyes and when we tried to hand her the money she turned around and walked away grabbed a bucket from the floor and put it on the counter next to the fryer then grabbed another bucket from the back poured our fries and never washed her hands What happened to gloves or soap and water. Have been coming here since they closed the location on Lincoln Ave. - Staff is very friendly, reviews your order before they cook it, goes over what you're getting before you leave. The taste is usually good, but I've noticed that there's less meat on the buns than there used to be and the prices are a little higher. I'd like to see the sandwiches actually come out looking close to what they show in the photos / ads. I lover Arby's, but too bad there aren't too many locations around. I haven't been to Arby's in a while, but from what I remember Arby's was never this nice.... Their trays give it a more gourmet feel. I usually get my regular roast beef meal. This time around was no different from every other time. I feel like Arby's is the most consistent when it comes to fast food restaurants. Their curly fries are always curly and delicous. THE FUCK MAN!! And l mean that in a great way!! Its been way to long since I've stepped into an Arby's. Last time l went, it was up norcal in 2001. So coming back here to this food chain got me pretty excited. l wanted to see what stayed and what changed in their menu. But one thing floor sure I'd order my usual...MAX beef Arby's sandwich. Simple with alot of beef but hey... Gotta satisfy that craving!! l was the first one in when l arrived. Must've been a slow morning for these guys. Place was spotless. After l ordered, l got my drink and say down. Surprisingly l saw and heard my fries being cooked on the spot unlike most places where its under a lamp. When l got my food l decided to give myself a little foreplay eating my curly fries!! Yeah daddy wants to be enticed and enjoy being teased before he takes a nibble!! After getting turned on, l stripped the box from my sandwich exposing my baby's delicious meat!! Fuckin'a eating my sandwich was like sex in my mouth!! Also l found it interesting seeing their oval tray... Looks like you can make deep dish pizza!! And finally Arby's one last thing... Here's an idea... You should do beef bowl... I know most employers cant get decent help in fast food these days. But, with that said, in and out burger has exceptional employees. To this arbys, I'm sorry to say i will never come back. The guy at the counter did not speak English very well, so it was difficult to get the information i wanted. He thought i was asking for a hamburger, he said "no hangburgers" when i was asking for thicker sliced beef. I moved on from that language wrestling match and put my order in. I pulled out a 100 dollar bill and handed it to the guy. Now, i used to manage restaurants, so im very familiar with checking bills for authentication. This guy acted as if i was db cooper. He lifted the bill in the air six (6) times!!.....really? I thought......he then took out the marker and swiped it, then paused while looking at the bill, as if it would take 30 seconds to respond to the marker. Im like, you got to be kidding me. Finally he proceeds to give me my change. Now granted i thought that was odd, but oh well right? But here's what pissed me off, its kne thing to treat me like a criminal, but He then says something in spanish under his breath, as he's giving me my change, to his co-worker behind him making the sandwiches. I dont know what he said, because i don't speak Spanish. But his co-worker started laughing and peering out from behind the cook station. So at this point i don't know what just happened, but starting to feel a little un-comfortable, wasn't sure if maybe my fly was open or he just decided to blurt out a really funny joke in Spanish, again, dont know, cuz i don't speak spanish. One thing i do know, is it is very very very rude and inappropriate to speak another language while in the presents of guest. He gave me my order complete with cold fries and cold roast beef. He did not offer any condiments, he just pointed at tbe napkin dispenser, i had to ask for sauce and ketchup. I absolutely love Arbys. I wish this was a good review but......1st the layout for dinning room is akward. The kitchen and register is on one side of giant dividing wall and the dinning room is on the other side. Only way employees can see dinning room is by a rear view mirror in the front. Kinda dangerous neighborhood to leave patrons to fend for themselves from anyone entering rear door. The design is beautiful and updated. Bathrooms are also nice but there are no toilet seat covers. This is my 2nd time coming here. The cashier guy who touches money, does all the frying. He use tongs to serve food food but he also does cleaning and when the "cook" has to cover register there is no hand washing done..and the cashier finished the meat slicing the cook was doing and only washed hands after he touched the meat. I think working as a team is great but if ur gonna be touching money and cleaning and moping u should not help prep food. Such a shame. And cashier guy is not friendly.
