Love this vet. Pricing is great was being way overcharged before by another local vet. So glad I switched all my animals to them.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after today's experience, I feel compelled to share it…read more We drove approximately 30 minutes on a very hot Saturday afternoon for our dog's routine wellness visit and vaccinations. Unfortunately, we arrived 12 minutes late for our 1:00 PM appointment. When we checked in, there were no pet patients waiting in the lobby. The front desk employee informed us that she needed to ask the veterinarian if we could still be seen. She returned a few minutes later and told us that because we were 12 minutes late, our pet would not be seen. I politely asked if I could speak directly with the veterinarian, but I was told that the doctor was unavailable because she was with another patient. Ironically, the veterinarian was already running behind schedule and was seeing another patient during the time our appointment had been scheduled. Yet despite the office itself running late, there was absolutely no flexibility when it came to a client who was only 12 minutes behind. What was even more disappointing was the attitude of the front desk staff. When I explained that if our pet could not be seen, we would transfer her care to another veterinary practice, the response was simply, "OK, no problem," delivered with complete indifference. There was no attempt to apologize, offer another solution, or show any concern about losing a client. As a physician who has owned and operated multiple medical offices for more than 20 years, I understand the importance of keeping a schedule. However, I also understand that healthcare--whether for people or pets--requires compassion, common sense, and professionalism. We have patients who drive long distances to see us, and if someone is 10 or 15 minutes late, we do everything we reasonably can to accommodate them rather than turning them away. That's how long-term relationships are built. This experience felt less like a healthcare practice and more like a business enforcing rules without any regard for customer service or empathy. It left us feeling completely unvalued. For the owner or practice partners, if you happen to read this review, our pet's name is **Ziba**, and the appointment was scheduled for **Saturday, July 11, at 1:00 PM**. I hope you will look into what happened because I suspect this interaction does not reflect the standard of care you would want your practice to be known for. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. We were prepared to spend several hundred dollars on our pet's wellness care and vaccinations, but we will gladly take our business to another veterinary practice in the community that values its clients and treats them with kindness and respect. I think this version will have a much stronger impact because it focuses on the facts, avoids personal attacks or speculation about the veterinarian's motives or employment status, and clearly explains why the experience was disappointing. That makes it more credible to readers and more useful to the practice owner if they choose to investigate.

So when I adopted another kitten a month ago, I knew it was time to find a new vet. My other cat, who I adopted during the pandemic, has seen one other vet before and I wasn't a huge fan of them. I selected Light Street solely based off the glowing Yelp reviews. I felt at ease bringing both cats in for check-ups. I was also pleasantly surprised that despite their popularity, Light Street could fit me in within 2 weeks. The service from start to finish was great. They both got shots and the kitten got eye drops for a mild case of conjunctivitis. About a week later (today), I brought my older cat back for another appt because I had a hunch she had a cold or virus of some kind. I was seen the very next day after I called and the vet was quick to listen to my concerns and take her temperature. Lo and behold, she has a fever and was prescribed antibiotics. I am really grateful for Light Street's responsiveness and quick turnaround, especially when my cat's health was of immediate concern. I am also really grateful for their fair pricing. They've been generous with discounts each time I've visited and I've paid half as much as I have at my former vet for the same services. I would recommend Light Street to anyone in the area looking for a trustworthy vet.

The average doctor visit is something like 6 minutes long. This vet appointment was about 30-40 minutes, almost all that time spent talking to the doctor. This was incredible! We went over everything from our cat's ideal calorie intake to lose weight, to vaccinations, and the medical problem we came in for originally. There was zero waiting room time. We came in and were immediately shown into an exam room. Then the vet and techs came in almost immediately. They were all very sweet, knowledgeable, and super patient. We had another vet that hadn't faxed over records yet. One word to the front office and they somehow got those records in 30 seconds, something I couldn't do in 3 separate phone calls (what wizardry they used to accomplish this I have no idea). Their pricing is middle of the road here. They should be a lot more expensive given the white glove level of service and face time you get with the actual Doctor. Don't expect bargain bin prices, but don't expect to be ripped off either. We will be using this place as our primary vet from now on. We got recommended this clinic from a friend who runs a pet care business. I have to say she was right on the money - this place is great!

As soon as we walked in and were greeted and asked if we wanted water, soda or hot coffee/tea, I felt this was a different type of veterinarian. This is a relatively new practice and everything smells fresh and clean. We were shown into a room and a vet tech came in to get some information about my dog and the reason we were there. Next the operations manager came in to say hello and meet us and see my adorable dogs. Then the doctor came in with the vet tech, we talked and she weighed and examined my dog and gave me her thoughts while holding each of my dogs so the tech could cut their nails. I had several questions which I had asked other veterinarians and the answer Dr Laura gave me seems to be spot on and is already helping and making a difference with my dogs and her paws. I am happy to have found such a good practice, and also a very reasonable first visit. My dogs are seniors so our visits are typically expensive and this was very reasonable. I'm glad to have found this practice and it being close to home makes it even better. This seems to be a family owned practice and I happen to love those type of businesses. Highly recommend! You won't go wrong making an appointment here for your pets.

When we found him he couldn't walk properly so we knew we had to get him to a vet. Since it was late in the evening an emergency vet was our only choice so off to Catonsville we went. On the whole we were very pleased with the care that our cat received here. The vet who saw him was Dr. Sharon Stemley-Agnello. She was very nice and did a good job of explaining our cat's injuries and treatment (he broke a couple of toes but should be fine in the long run in case anyone's worried). The woman who was working at the front desk was also great. We really appreciated her kindness and she seemed genuinely concerned about our cat. I wish I'd gotten her name, but if anyone from the practice reads this please let whoever was working the evening of April 23rd know that her compassion meant a lot to us. The prices that they charge here are quite reasonable as well. Obviously you're going to pay a premium for a vet that's available at a moment's notice at 10 PM but I didn't think the cost was bad at all. I did think that they could do a better job of handling patients when they first show up. They took the carrier with our cat in it to the back without really telling us what was going on and then we had to wait quite a while without any updates. At every other vet I've been to we were always allowed in the exam room with our cats. As I mentioned above the veterinarian and the receptionist were both wonderful, unfortunately some of the other staff members came off as rather cold and disinterested. Our cat is going to be fine so this wasn't that big of a deal but a lot of people will be coming here with pets who aren't going to survive. I hope that for people in that kind of a heartbreaking situation things are handled a bit better. We're thankful that this facility exists for situations like ours and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends who need an emergency vet. I think that they could work on being a little less rough around the edges but that's a relatively minor detail for a place that provides solid, fairly priced care.

Best Vet we've found in Baltimore!…read more To give some background: we used to take our dog Luna, a 1.5 yr Chihuahua that has congenital renal dysplasia and recurring pancreatitis, to Eastern Animal Hospital. Eastern was ok at first, until about a year ago, and are now just a disaster. There are so many Vets that work at that practice it's a different vet every time, there's not much personal empathy expressed by them, not much listening and understanding, no relationship with your pet...they're a machine: get your pet in and get them out. They still take forever, so it's for nothing anyway. Whenever you call for questions you're ALWAYS talking to a technician who doesn't have any background knowledge on your pet and *their history*. We are very thankful for the staff at Eastern, just not quite the right fit for us. We knew about Aardmore because it was geographically the closest vet to our house and we ended up rushing our cat there one day and had a good experience. We decided to start taking Luna there after that because of our bad experiences at Eastern. Wow, what a difference! We have taken Luna twice over the last couple of weeks and already have a great relationship with Dr. Tuckerman. She is wonderful. She is smart, understanding, and a great listener. She always remembers exactly who we are and who Luna is, and understands her unique medical history. We explained the treatment plan we had with Eastern and she already has helped us with some new treatment ideas and suggested a different prescription diet. She put in a prescription for us to have nausea medicine on-hand for when Luna's pancreatitis strikes and that's a lifesaver. This clinic is smaller than others and doesn't many, many vets, so its nice to always be able to see Dr. Tuckerman and be able to reach her. She really does care when she asks for updates on your pet. Alongside Luna's experience at Aardmore, our cat Tenley went in for a mass under his tongue. We worked with Dr. Pineau, and he was also kind and knowledgable and did an excellent job removing the mass. Tenley healed from surgery very quickly and easily and seems much healthier (and thank goodness the mass was benign). We are so glad that Aardmore is here in our community. They really WANT to help our pets and they make sure to take good care of us humans as well. For those of us that LOVE your pets, we are very serious about veterinary care, and we are very happy with Aardmore so far. Thank you Dr. Tuckerman and Dr. Pineau!

I am visually impaired, so Dr. Anna, Kate and her vet tech took extra time to explain what they were doing in case I wasn't able to tell. They took extra time to tell me all of my different options to help my dog, who suffers from chronic allergies, and itches all the time. The cost of a checkup and the medication's are comparable to those of my local vet. The only additional charge is the travel fee. However, for me, it is definitely worth it because of the convenience. However, they also offer a program you can sign up for that helps to cover this cost. Dr. Anna Kate was kind enough to tell me a little about it during their visit today and I plan on looking into it.
