They are just wonderful people. All of the techs are so lovely as well and careful with our cats, and it's cute to hear them fawning over the animals. 10 out of 10.

Countryside not only performed a surgery to remove one of my guinea pig's eyes, but was also extremely caring and compassionate when pre-existing issues slowed the healing process. Countryside was again very sympathetic and kind when another of our guinea pigs passed away. We also have a senior dog that we have learned so much more about since bringing her to Countryside. Since we have had such a variety of veterinary needs, I think we have gotten to speak with each of the vets that work at Countryside and I would trust them all with my pets. Each vet takes the time to educate us on the issue and provide more information if needed. Every other staff member has very kind and friendly to us! I can see why someone would say their services are somewhat pricey, but you are paying for quality care. I know they are not here to take advantage of concerned pet-parents. Countryside had plenty of opportunities to overcharge me for follow-up visits or products, but were instead always compassionate and showed they genuinely cared about my pet's health. They also have an app and rewards program - which helps! I appreciate Countryside and the care they have given to our family so much, I continue using them even since moving out of the area. We went for a routine visit today and, boy, how have things have changed for the worse. First we had to wait in a very small room where the only place to sit was stool with very wobbly legs and one of which seemed broken. So we stood. After a 10 minute wait, a technician came and went and the doctor came in and there was still not even an introduction until we asked for it. All our kid's shots were brought up to date and the bill came in just under $500 but there was a $12 surcharge because we didn't pay cash. This was all because they refused to authorize a prescription to renew heart worm medication for our girl without an office visit. The visit was routine since it all needed to be done anyway. If we had known before we went this time what we know now, we would never have gone. We're looking for a new vet now. We're done with Countryside. If you find a good one, cherish them. I hope they'll stay good for you. These guys aren't the ones.

Today was our first experience and he made my wife and I feel like we were his favorite clients. We had a warm welcome when we came in. Our cat's appointment started on time (not that it really makes a difference for me because I understand things happen.). Dr. Holden was very patient, friendly and thorough with his exam. He explained in detail and PLAIN ENGLISH of what he was doing and what he was looking for. He made us feel good and confident about his abilities. That means the world to us. You know in your heart when you come across a health care professional that takes their job seriously. He takes his job and responsibilities seriously. If you're looking for glitz, glamour, LED Lighting, 90 inch screen TV's with surround sound then this practice is not for you. However, for the second visit. I call on Jan 11 around 10am to schedule an appointment for my kitty second vaccine. They said they are fully book till next Friday (1/22). So I made an appointment at 3:40pm that day. When I arrived they said they do not have any record of the appointment and there is nothing she can do today, other then reschedule it to next week. I have to take a day off for the appointment and the receptionist didn't even apologize for her mistake!!

Unfortunately, we arrived 12 minutes late for our 1:00 PM appointment. When we checked in, there were no pet patients waiting in the lobby. The front desk employee informed us that she needed to ask the veterinarian if we could still be seen. She returned a few minutes later and told us that because we were 12 minutes late, our pet would not be seen. I politely asked if I could speak directly with the veterinarian, but I was told that the doctor was unavailable because she was with another patient. Ironically, the veterinarian was already running behind schedule and was seeing another patient during the time our appointment had been scheduled. Yet despite the office itself running late, there was absolutely no flexibility when it came to a client who was only 12 minutes behind. What was even more disappointing was the attitude of the front desk staff. When I explained that if our pet could not be seen, we would transfer her care to another veterinary practice, the response was simply, "OK, no problem," delivered with complete indifference. There was no attempt to apologize, offer another solution, or show any concern about losing a client. As a physician who has owned and operated multiple medical offices for more than 20 years, I understand the importance of keeping a schedule. However, I also understand that healthcare--whether for people or pets--requires compassion, common sense, and professionalism. We have patients who drive long distances to see us, and if someone is 10 or 15 minutes late, we do everything we reasonably can to accommodate them rather than turning them away. That's how long-term relationships are built. This experience felt less like a healthcare practice and more like a business enforcing rules without any regard for customer service or empathy. It left us feeling completely unvalued. For the owner or practice partners, if you happen to read this review, our pet's name is **Ziba**, and the appointment was scheduled for **Saturday, July 11, at 1:00 PM**.
