Great staff! Maintenance doesn't always get the job done the first time. Pretty quiet neighborhood.

I've lived here for three years now. First and foremost, the one thing that sold me on this…read moreproperty was the pool. Not only is Lakeshore Pointe the only apartment complex on Ross Barnett reservoir but the pool sits right on the water making a day at the pool I feel like a five-star resort. This place is really a community. I've gotten to know and become friends with many of the residents. There is always something fun going on that all of the residents are invited to whether it's a barbecue, a pool party, Super Bowl party, and game day get together etc. I have to brag on the progression of this property is well. When I first moved here there was just a tennis courts in the pool. But it's so great to be able to actually see your community reinvest in the property. There is now a basketball court, tennis courts, dog walking area complete with several waste stations around the property, at fitness center, and outdoor work out equipment. The grounds are beautiful, the landscaping crew takes such a great care of the yard keeping it looking gorgeous with seasonal flowers. This is an extremely safe community and it's so nice to have a trustworthy staff work in the office. Rita, the property manager, does a great job to address any concerns or requests that we have while Demo and Anthony, the maintenance men, take the best care of all of our technical issues. I wouldn't rather live in any apartment around Jackson.

I wish I could give less stars. We lived here for a year and it was the worst apartment we have…read moreever lived in. the AC and heat barely work, severe water damage and mold in the bathrooms, pipes that make the water feel slimy, walls so thin you can take to your neighbors like they are in the room with you, and many more issues. Also don't be fooled, their "renovations" are just paint that is so poorly done that they painted the carpet, the doors were painted shut, and it was peeling off the walls. Not to mention the bug problem. Lastly, management is incompetent, to say the least. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. You would be better off living under a bridge.

UPDATE They brought…read morein so called "professional", just some more lazy bums who don't know what they're doing. One day later, my A/C is broken again. 80° in my apartment during March, can't imagine it when it gets hotter out. What a poorly managed establishment, do not live here. They will cheap out every single time and not get the job done ever. Not to mention they never answer the phone so don't bother calling to try to get anything fixed. They claim to have 24/7 maintenance DO NOT FALL FOR IT, it's a load of horse sh*t. I have called multiple times and, you guessed it, no response!

DO NOT LIVE HERE. They have shutoff water at least 6 times…read morefor the whole complex since we moved here (2 months). 1 of those months we didn't have a shower at all because the pipe broke and they didn't seem to care. Maintenance came to "fix" the spout that flew off by gluing it on which lead to the apartment under us to get flooded so then they called an actual plumber and they left it like this (see picture) for maintenance to fix but that took a while too. Even the plumber said that this place sucked. Maintenance is not trained on how to properly fix anything so they literally just glue things or paint over things and call it a day. Management doesn't call back on important matters(like about rent fees they are over charging) but they will call if they get annoyed that your packages get dropped off at the office. Also when we moved in after it had been "cleaned" for us, there were bugs (dead and alive), and hair (including pubes) everywhere. On top of all of that, there is only one none-negotiable cable/internet plan which is just inconvenient. I've lived in 10 apartments across 5 states all over America and I can honestly say this apartment has been the worst.
