She has been here through multiple management companies and is the person that has made our experience here so awesome. The apartment complex has great amenities but they don't replace excellent customer service. That's were Miss Jasimon shines by scheduling events for the residents, recruiting food trucks, and meeting all of our needs. If you want someone to take ownership for making your living space a wonderful experience that's a cut above the rest....come and see her. Some of the great amenities here include a salt water pool, a nicely equipped gym, a movie theater, a Luxor managed package room, and remote access control for residents who want to grant access to friends or delivery people. Once you speak to Jasimon and do the tour....you're going to want to join us. Don't cheat yourself. Treat yourself.

Danielle (who is no longer here) made us feel really welcomed here, and Chris was very pleasant and welcoming as well. Now, management has changed and fun living and feeling welcomed here is no longer a feeling for us. The amenities here are supposed to be a part of living and paying for a luxury apartment, but here that isn't the case anymore. We used the Community Room for a friendly and fun gathering for the holiday. We were given permission to use the room. After using the room we were first charged $1,000. After retaining an attorney, he advised us that there is nothing in our lease stating that they can charge us for using the room. After receiving the letter from our attorney Christy and Jasimon changed the $1,000 to $500. Which we haven't paid, because it's not valid or fair. I feel like we were targeted for them to get extra money from us for the activities that they have here. People use that room all the time, even the night before we did and they were not charged. A fact that I know! It seems like since management changed, everything has changed for the worst. Why live in a luxury apartment if you can't utilize the amenities that you're paying for? I have had two packages stolen that has still not showed up. Thankfully, the two companies resent my orders to me. This week has been the fourth or fifth time that we had to put in a work order for the microwave. It keeps cutting out, and tripping the breaker. The last time we smelled smoke. I have asked the last maintenance guy to put in an order for a new microwave. We'll see what happens or how long this will take. I pray that living here gets better and back to fun the way it used to be.

I am very particular about many things and let me say they check the box in everything when it comes to an ideal community..probably even better than ideal. Let me start with the office staff--Luther, Daryl and Josh are some of the most genuine people. They are very good at addressing any questions or requests I have in prompt manner. The property manager, Luther Crawford, really lives up to all of the amazing reviews-- I'm so impressed with how well he runs this community and goes above and beyond. Always with a smile on his face asking how you or your family are doing...he isn't just asking to sound nice, he truly means it! He really cares about his residents and it shows! He has even brought packages right to my doorstep for me!! The maintenance crew, Daryl and Josh, are very friendly and courteous when coming into my apartment for any maintenance & always care to make sure we are comfortable in our home at all times. They respond to maintenance requests practically immediately and always do an exceptional job! Next, the community..anyone I have encountered here is so friendly and easy to spark up a conversation with. It makes me super thankful to live in a place full of so many warm personalities! Additionally, there are beautiful amenities, which include a wonderful swimming pool (complete with a kiddie pool area for the little ones), a beautiful gym and a clubhouse that holds frequent events for families! Bottom line, I have lived in many apartments, but Luther and his staff go above and beyond to set themselves apart from all the rest. They know just how to care for their residents all while maintaining an extraordinary amount of professionalism & ensuring all move in & administrative processes go as smooth as possible. I'm so happy we chose to move into this community. I hope this review is a reason for you to want to save your time looking anywhere else. You won't regret choosing to live here. Quite frankly, you'll never want to leave!

These same people would get into loud fights with their roommates, double park in front of the building and have parties late into the night after the quiet hours. The front gate and entry doors are frequently broken, this is a safety issue. Groups of teenagers loiter in community hallways, stair wells smoking pot and playing music. These incidents have been reported again and again to the management. These teens do not live in this community. Over and over again were instructed to call the police when these concerning events occurred. That is it. No involvement by the management. Packages have disappeared because they were left on the floor when the entry doors were broken. The quality of life has grown worse with excuses and deflection being offered instead of resolution. There are developments nearby which are less pricey. There is damage in the gym, the unit windows are poor quality, let draft in. TVs in the common areas, new phase, do not work. Unfortunately, everything else has been a terrible experience due to property management. The first red flag came two days before move-in, when we were suddenly told our apartment wouldn't be ready for another two weeks. After almost a year with no issues, things got worse when a roach infestation began due to overcrowded apartments nearby. Instead of handling it promptly, management delayed inspections and extermination over and over, forcing residents to live with pests. On top of that, despite months of documented requests, no lease renewal or transfer options were ever provided as my lease end date approached. The manager avoids calls, emails, and any direct contact, showing no accountability for residents' concerns. This community could be fine if not for management's negligence. The poor communication, failure to address habitability, and disregard for residents make it impossible to recommend.

We already feel more welcome in 2 days than I felt at my old place in over 2 years. The only reason for the 4 star review is for the hot water heater not being the greatest and the steps up to garden apartment landing are VERY steep and slightly sloped so you have to be really careful if you're carrying a bunch of stuff or you have any stability/clumsiness issues. Overall though, I'm thrilled to be here!

I have lived in this complex since 2014, and the problems began in 2016 under property manager P. Kemp, whose behavior I found to be unstable and unprofessional. During my tenancy, I was falsely summoned to court, had my car wrongfully towed, and was approached at my door by the property manager accompanied by a police officer who lives on the property, where I was falsely accused regarding my disability tags. Despite providing proof that my rent was paid on time, I was still charged a late fee. I also reported a tenant who harassed me, yet no appropriate action was taken. When I escalated my concerns to the Vice President of the management company--since the property owner is inaccessible--he yelled at me and dismissed my concerns entirely. Additionally, when maintenance requests are made, the repairs are often incomplete or poorly handled. The staff turnover rate is extremely high, which contributes to the disorganization and lack of accountability. Several Black women in this community have reported experiencing similar harassment and mistreatment. When I raised concerns about the issues I was experiencing, I was met with a notice that my lease would not be renewed and was dismissed by Tony Perichino, the Vice President of their management company. There is no direct access to the property owner. I am currently paying approximately $3,000 per month, including gas, electricity, water, and sewage, for a one-bedroom apartment. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

Unfortunately, we cannot give FIVE STARS like most people who have given them such wonderful reviews. It's more like a negative ZERO! To the Company and its OWNER, rules, policies, etc... I will say this with A WARNING, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! What seemed to be a blessing, became a CURSE. A nightmare. And it is still A NIGHTMARE. We are going to continue to tell OUR STORY about this place to make people aware of how they did us. OUR STORY: Back in 2011, my husband and I were excited that we were approved for a 1 bedroom. Only had the keys for 3 days because just as soon as we had good news to share, our situation made a complete turn for the worse. My husband lost his job. Sadly, we did not get a chance to move our things in. Went to the office and talked with the manager telling the manager our situation. We had no choice BUT to break our lease. No job. No money to afford the place. We turned the keys in and left. Fast forward. It is now the Year 2021. We got a letter in the mail stating that they had been to court and won their case. We were never notified of this matter. [A strategy these companies use so you can't fight it! They don't want you to show up!] The letter also states that we now owe them $20K and the process of Garnishment of Wages has begun. Now the company my husband works for is fully aware. How did they come up with $20K and we were not even in the apt for a month?!! Instead of charging us for the breaking of the "Lease Fee", they stated due to the amount of time the apartment was vacant caused the fee to go up to $20K. This is INSANE! Serenity Place at Dorsey Ridge Apartments (at that time) was fairly NEW; we doubt very seriously they had a hard time putting other people in there. Even still, if the place was unoccupied for even 6 months--$20K still DOES NOT ADD UP! So how did they come to terms that we owed them $20K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today, 2025, they are still haunting us and are causing us such hardship. Received another threatening letter yesterday about this same matter. The balance is now $15K. We do not have this kind of money. Paying them $800 a month is robbery. Also, they will put you in a rental credit database that would hinder you from renting anywhere else. WE REGRET THE DAY WE EVEN LOOKED AT THESE PLACES. DO NOT MOVE HERE. IF YOU FALL UNDER A CIRCUMSTANCE THAT IS BEYOND YOUR CONTROL AND FORCES YOU TO BREAK THE LEASE-----YOU MAY WANT TO RECONSIDER MOVING HERE!!!

I can say I love it here. Community is very clean, maintenance is awesome and the full washer and dryer in unit is amazing. What makes this property is the fast and excellent response time to issues. I'm also a property manager so I can see both sides of issues. But the fact that you can request a maintenance issue Monday and have someone the same day is awesome. The walls are thin but hey, it's an apartment. I don't understand the complaints about mice or roaches as we have had zero.
