I have a Samsung dryer that was making a squeaking/grinding noise. A&S was first to quickly respond and tentatively answer all my questions. In about an hour, Soslan showed up to take a look at the dryer. He advised in his experience the noise was likely a pulley versus the rollers and provided a fair estimate. Upon disassembling the unit, he updated me on the issue (which was the pulley) and the total cost of the job, which was slightly lower than the original quote! He had the tools/parts on hand and about hour later the dryer was up and running again - noise gone! Soslan is awesome and professional. I appreciated his excellent communication. If I have any other home appliance issues, I will definitely give him a call. NOTE: Invoices are provided and credit cards are accepted via PayPal card reader. Checked reviews of some local repair outfits when our dryer broke down. Mr. A had the best of…read morethem so we gave them a try. Got the service scheduled for three days out, and received an immediate confirmation, as well as a day-before confirmation that included a photo of the technician. Received a text from the technician when he was on his way. Upon his inspection of the dryer, he determined he would need to order a new part, but said he would be able to get back to install it by the end of the day. Turned out even better than that--he was back in a couple of hours, telling me he decided it would be quicker to swing back to my place then instead of after his next stop, as he'd planned. After the new part was in, everything was fine. The repair wasn't cheap--replacing a circuit board won't be in any circumstances--but the repair went smoothly and the dryer is now working fine.

It took a few more hours and finally received a call at the end of their day and was told that my machine was too old and the part wasn't being made anymore. He said he'd keep looking, but was very informative and kind when giving me the bad news. I told him it wasn't necessary and thanked him for his help. I really appreciate the honesty and that they have free estimates as they didn't charge me for anything. I will definitely bring back my other machine when it needs a cleaning or repair.

I bought a Brother CM350 off eBay, but the seller refunded me because they didn't include any accessories and didn't know anything about the machine. When I called Brother customer service, they told me they no longer provide activation cards but recommended I contact authorized distributors to see if they had software activation codes. I finally got a call back, and the woman told me my machine doesn't need a software code and that "the Cricut has no WiFi." First of all, I don't know who told her I had a Cricut--I have a Brother. I hung up because of her attitude. She said, "I don't work for Cricut," but if you're an authorized dealer, you should at least know the difference between the machines you're dealing with. If she hadn't been so rude, I might have caught her mistake earlier. I know I never mentioned a circuit model number to them. When I originally called, someone said she'd pass my number on to someone who "knows more about Cricuts and stuff." So maybe they're not actually Brother-authorized, even though Brother's website listed them.

Plain spoken, respectful and competent. Great admin experience too. With the exception of the person at the scheduling phone, who seems to never be there, I can usually reach someone with questions. And they are helpful. The products they sell are........well.......the products of today. These are not the reliable, affordable, and fixable appliances of the past. I've even had the mighty Bosch fall apart due to cheap plastic parts. Dishwasher flooded my kitchen! Aside: How do I interpret the fact that my new Kitchen Aid Dishwasher COMES WITH a water leak alarm? A thoughtful precaution or an admission of the inevitability of product failure? My Mom's old dishwasher was 15 years old and never leaked! So, we cross our fingers, sigh at the prices, and hope that it won't fail in 2 years. That said, I appreciate having Bill & Rod's additional warranty beyond the basic one from the manufacturer's. My best guess is that it will be worth it. I've given up on the big-box stores for major appliances. Very cheap products, little customer concern, incompetent admin service, and unresponsive technical service. How about you?
