You might ask.... was I rude? No, we never even had a conversation over the phone. Did you do something to them? Yes I challenged charges for items that never took place in the appointment. I never even received a Dr's report from that appointment. I'm guessing because the Dr didn't want to put in writing what never took place. I'm absolutely beside myself. I have been REALLY looking forward to seeing Christy Cline for…read moremonths and I am in shock at the abhorrent way they treated me. When I had questions about signing paperwork that takes away ANY & ALL rights about malpractice and also having to sign a document giving full control about future procedures to be performed, I have questions. Instead of Ms. Cline having a conversation with me to help me better understand, she stated that she couldn't talk to me until or unless I signed her malpractice documents. FISHY! I've NEVER encountered a healthcare professional like this in my life. I guess the entire lobby filled with supplements and the printed sign by check in stating "due to so many cancellations, you will now be charged for missed appointments". Good luck with charging me. Even still, I'm still super bummed. I just want to feel better. My friends that referred me here are in shock. Moving on.

This visit to Sobel Family Medicine was for acupuncture services. There are other medical services…read moreoffered here as well. There were at least five pages of paperwork to fill out. Too bad they don't offer this online like some offices do. In any event, I am glad they asked me to arrive early. I was seen in a timely manner. The practitioner listened to my history and issues. He asked clarification questions and then set about the task. If you haven't had acupuncture before, it is not painful at all. There were a few tender spots on the problem areas but otherwise it was fine. I was able to relax with the needles about 40 minutes. When the time was up, he returned and removed the needles. My pelvis was out of alignment so he worked on that too. I feel much better and will return for follow up. Shared parking lot.

My family doctor of many years retired late last year. I researched family practices and found…read morethat Sobel Family Medicine appeared to address all my needs in a family doc. Made an appointment with Dr. Bruce Sobel. First visit ...I had to wait an hour to see the doctor......not a great first impression. During the exam I found Larry Sobel more interested in letting me know how much $$$ he made in the market recently than dealing with any medical issues I had. Had the exam and told him I wouldn't come back if waiting an hour was typical. He assured me it wasn't . Next appointment I waited an hour and a half and still never got to see Sobel. I walked out and told the office I wouldn't be back. Immediately found a new family doc. I take a blood pressure medication every day. Unbeknownst to me Sobel's office was the last medical practice to order this particular medication so the pharmacy contacted them them to OK a refill. They decided not to and simply ignored the multiple fax requests. I found Larry Sobel to be condescending, disrespectful and a little too arrogant. He may be a great doctor but he runs his practice like his sh*t doesn't stink.

In the last year or so, though, the care we've received has gone downhill fast, mostly due to the new NP's my wife and I have both seen. The previous doc, PA, and NP at Prevene we saw were all knowledgeable but also took the time to listen and do a proper assessment. More often than not, they also thought through root cause possibilities rather than simply looking for a band-aid to slap on via meds or overly simplistic advice. Our last few appointments with the new staff was full of interruptions and more talking than listening, telling me the same thing you could find online or in a book. We'll be looking for somewhere new.
