Overall, amazing service. Got a quote on some other trees that were making me nervous and was very pleased with the amount. They…read morecame out promptly and were extremely knowledgeable concerning what I needed done in addition to other issues they noticed. In trying to make things easier to handle, a worker was informed to cut off supporting branches of a huge limb that was perched on my tree. Doing so caused the limb to break free of the tree itself and not just pull out my power lines to my house, but also hit the roof in a way that caused the eaves and connected gutter to separate some from the roof itself. They did the job quickly and got all branches up as stated, but their cleanup afterwards was limited primarily to the branches and the initial blowing off of the roof to work on it. The roof and the walkway to my house were left covered in saw dust. Before I paid the company, their responses were quick and professional. After they left and I noticed the damage to the roof -- all that would be needed was to hammer the eaves back in and make sure no further damage is done to the gutter -- it took hours to hear back from the company. A week ago they said they would send someone out to do a quick repair and I imagine since they have the money, they have no need to try and continue to provide good service.

His crew oeft my property with the job unfinished, my shed damaged, and drink trash throughout,…read moreincluding inside my shed, which they had no business in. A large limb damaged my shed from the tree work they were doing, and when Joseph Bryant Byrd II, the owner, was confronted, he tried to lie about it, claiming his crew said a small branch fell, then tried to accuse me of lying about it by insinuating the damage was preexisting. The crew also refused to tell my fiancee, who was home at the time, about the incident. I came home after work and found the damage. I also was told I would be given notice the day before and I wasn't. I got a call from my fiancee saying the people were there to cut the tree. Initially I told them they needed to reschedule because they couldn't keep up their end of the agreement concerning proper notice. After talking some with Joseph, I let them continue to work. A truck that was originally blocking my gate didn't end up needing to be moved. My shed did not leak before they showed up, but did after. When I called him on his lies, he got mad and told his crew to leave. Accidents (or accents as he said in his text to me) happen. It's all in how you deal with it. If the shed was damaged prior, it would have been documented and recorded. It wasnt. His lies were based on the fact that the tree was solid enough to climb, while also being so rotten that it would "shed limbs because dead trees shed limbs." Joseph Byrd is a pathetic excuse for a man and a business owner, and if you're willing to do business with a liar and crook, he's the man for the job. If you want to be taken care of should an "accent" happen, find someone else.
