I wouldn't use any one else! They are knowledgeable and professional. Their prices are extremely competitive Made recommendations to save my ash tree from the Ash Borer and so far so good! Kirk is busy, but always makes a point of getting me on his schedule. Whenever we have bad snow storms or high winds, I am virtually the only one on my block that doesn't lose branches or trees because I know I can trust him to prune them before it becomes a problem. These are not nice people. They were cutting trees next door and their truck completely blocked my driveway. When I told them to move I was laughed at by the man who could possibly be the owner. I had to tell him I was calling police before he did it. They piled up trees against my fence and I told his "assistant" he needed to move them. The asst told me to shut up. Get the picture? The owner told me "you have a problem, sister," and I told him he had a problem because I was a journalist headed to social media to report on this. He laughed and said, "a journalist? I'm loaded!" This is how these people talk to women? Never an apology for shoddy practices, just immature bad-boy behavior. Beware! read more

The "pro" for this company is that they are one of the less expensive companies out there, or so I hear The Con: When I tried to get a quote for a tree removal & stump grinding, they told me it would be 3-5 business days. 7 business days later I give them a call to see why I hadn't heard from them. The receptionist tells me that the estimator was actually on-site that morning and has not gotten back to the office yet to turn in the quote. She also tells me that he won't be back to the office until 430, and they close at 430, so I would need to wait until the next business day to hear from them. I tell her, that would make it 8 business days (as opposed to 3-5 like they promised) and couldn't she just call the guy and get the estimate over the phone??? Kindly, she tells me she'll look into it. About 30 minutes later I receive a call from another woman, "This is ______ from Arbor Pro Tree, what did you want to authorize on your account?" I was confused, so I told her I didn't know what she was talking about, she rudely responds, "let me try this again. Hi. This is _____ from Arbor Pro Tree, what did you want to authorize on your account?!" I tell her I think there is a mixup because I was just trying to get an estimate for a tree removal & stump grinding. She asks for my address and then proceeds to very rudely tell me that an estimator has not even been to my address yet and I will hear from them once he has. Then she hangs up. Needless to say, I did not use Arbor Pro Tree for the tree removal, I have NO idea what it would have cost me, but certainly even if they were cheaper than the company I used, it would not have been worth it to work with them. Arbor Pro Tree Experts has taken Amazing care of all my tree for over 22 years, with over 14 tree's on my property I was grateful for the Superior Knowledge of it's staff. Some years ago I received a call from the office personal, letting me know the Mt. Pine Beetle had moved into the metro area, and they want to send an arborist out to look at all of my pines. I started with a spray to prevent my tree's from getting infested. Well let me tell you, I am so glad I listened! All of the pines in my neighborhood are all dead, but not mine. I received a similar call in August in regards to my ash trees they gave me 3 options. I had my Ash Trees injected, and I don't have to treat them until 2016. My experience with this company has never been like the other reviews here, Not once has the office staff been rude, quite the contrary. They always greet me seemingly with a smile if I have questions they always answers my questions. The tree crews that come out are always polite and go over what they are there for. I haven't ever been "Billed" for services. When they come out I have always paid at the time of service, and my sprays are discounted because I have always pre-paid for them. Fast, friendly, fair. I've never spoke to a receptionist there - always Kirk. I expect if I call in their busy season I have wait a bit. But that wait is always reasonable and worthwhile for sure. You can't beat these guys. read more

This company removed a tree without permission and charged us for it. I called to ask about it and was told by the receptionist she would look into it. A few days later, I received a voice mail message back from the owner/manager - whom I had never spoken to -- screaming and threatening to sue me and "see us in court" if I didn't pay the bill. Truly an unbalanced and scary individual -- please do yourself a favor, and don't ever go near this company! I then did a web search and found multiple serious complaints against the company, and that the BBB had revoked their accreditation. read more

The company's accreditation in the BBB was revoked due to failure to respond to a complaint. I tried to work out the issue (i.e., incomplete and poor quality pruning) with Arbor Pro Tree directly, but they wouldn't return my calls. So I escalated the issue to the BBB, and the company didn't respond to them either. I would have zero stars if that were an option. I had been a satisfied customer for years and I am saddened to know that my past and future business meant so little to them. read more

I had Arbor Pro Tree cable a limb to a large tree in my backyard less than two years ago. Last week, the cable broke. Rather than stand behind their work and replace the still relatively new cable, the company told me that I'd have to pay another $200 for a replacement. Obviously, Arbor Pro Tree has poor quality work and rightly does not offer any warranties to customers. read more

Do not hire this company unless you want to repeatedly be billed for work that is not done.

Had a large evergreen come down in a wind storm. Crushed a shed, torn down a fence, and the downed tree was tangled up in another tree. In less than 24 hours Arbor Mtn had all remnants of the tree gone, plus another one I was worried about. They even went to the added effort of voluntarily removing some branches I had piled up in another area, without me even asking! Over the top execution. I will certainly use them again.
