Have lived in the Denver Metro area for 16 years and this is the only place we shop for vacuums. They sell excellent vacuums at great prices. Came in back in April after my Shark vacuum broke. I have a golden retriever and he sheds A LOT. I knew I needed to invest in a good vacuum instead of continually buying cheap ones that break every 6 months. I decided to check out Arapahoe Vacuum after all of the positive reviews I read here. Clint took care of me right away and I ended up purchasing this Riccar Supralite. I absolutely love this vacuum. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth the investment. The belt broke recently and came back. Clint put a new one on and only charged me the $6 and some change for the belt and it took only a few minutes. I didn't even need to have my receipt with me since he was able to pull it up under my last name. (Which was a relief when I couldn't find my receipt before coming over!) I had come here for a repair on a Hoover and seen the Riccar vacuum before. When our vacuum finally died I knew what a quality replacement was going to cost. The guys here also advised me of the warranty and service life on a Riccar which is about 8-9 years more than I've been averaging on Hoover's, Dyson's, and Shark's. Brought the whole family down and they let them play with vacuums while we were figuring out which one works best for our surfaces. We were in and out before the kids could even complain. Two bags later on the new vacuum and our floors are actually staying clean (carpet and hardwood). Even the dog hair seems to be lighter, and we have some shedders. I made the mistake of vacuuming up pasta and getting my vacuum clogged. They have been absolutely awesome here, had the vacuum completed very quickly and only charged me a diagnostic fee for the work. They had a spare in the shop, gave it to me and processed the broken tank under a warranty that we didn't even know we had. Clint is amazing! He is so knowledgeable and really cares about his customers!! I have had him work on a couple of vacuums for us over the last number of years. Most recently, I had a vacuum that I was going to donate to a Safehouse for battered women that didn't have a vacuum. I wanted to get a tune up on the vacuum before donating it because it was going to be used throughout the entire home which includes 11 families plus common space. I checked with a couple companies and they all wanted to charge me $89 just to leave it with them so they could give me a diagnosis. Not only did Clint not charge me the upfront fee, he provided the entire service for free knowing the vacuum was being donated to a good cause. It took him 15 minutes to do the "tune-up." All the other companies were going to scam me by charging me $89 or more for minimal labor. Just wanted to share because I ask for business recommendations frequently (since I'm new to the area. I have had a great experience with Best Vacuums. I've never written a review for a business before, but I felt the need to with this store. Clint fixed my steam cleaner and added new parts and motor free of charge (paid $60 for the repair fee). Honestly, I was shocked he didn't charge for the parts or push me just to buy a new cleaner. He was helpful and upfront with me and really cares about customer service. Unfortunately, we don't see that as often nowadays. So, I wanted to make sure everyone knew about this if they need a new vacuum or steam cleaner or need theirs repaired, this is the place to go. Clint also took the time to educate me about steam cleaners and vacuums so I could make the most educated decision on whether to buy a new machine or keep the existing. He was so helpful and wasn't just a pushy vacuum salesperson like I would expect to find in a vacuum store. What a nice Bloke! I took it to my vacuum shop telling the guy I thought it needed a new motor. He simply replaced the cord at NO cost...could of charged me for a new motor, and I would not have known the difference. read more
