Took over 3 months to do a simple warranty repair on our 6" makita sander. Brutal. Won't go be going back.

Extremely slow repair service. Didn't offer to lend a replacement while lawn equipment was being serviced.

Went to Western One to pick up the wood splitter that we reserved a week ago. Found out that our…read morereservation had been Canceled and another one placed on the same splitter. There was be explication how this happened, who did it or when. I am totally unsatisfied with their service and unwillingness to give us information. It looks like they did someone a favour and canceled our reservation. Too bad for us! However, they phoned around and found a log splitter all the way across town. They said that the cost the same with the same deal. This was not the case! Not only was it more expensive, we had to pay for 2 days rental!!! Thanks for nothing Western One!

I will feel more comfortable operating this machinery now having had some competant training with it. as they say, practice makes perfect. operating equipment like this untrained could be both very dangerous and expensive. thanks Justin... johnny k welsh coquitlam bc

He didn't listen when I told him to leave a spot for the natural pond and now the water flows over the gravel driveway. He's been given 6+ months to come fix the issue, but he just yells at me on the phone. He came once to clean some of the visible garbage but didn't bring the excavator to fix the water problem. He didn't have to pay to ship it farther up island and I would get free soil. It seemed like a win-win, but he's unbearable to work with and won't remedy the problems he creates.

We hired D&H Excavating to do some work on the side of our house and paid a total of $3500.00.  The…read moreagreement was $1000.00 a day for the excavation, a load of gravel, removal of a stump, and a $500.00 dumping fee.  On the first day, the excavator was here with two other employees that stood around then another person showed up with no equipment/tools to cut down and remove the stump.  We had to lend them our chainsaw and shovel; the stump is still there, they just covered it with dirt and also buried some pieces of wood in with it that were left sticking out of the ground.  On the second day there was only one guy with a wheelbarrow, not the excavator we were told would be there, so we only had the excavator for one day.  They also left a lot of debris and waste on the property that should have been taken to the dump.  I was away while the work was being done and during my absence, the next-door neighbor, a nurse that works at the General Hospital, ended up having to come to my yard where they did the excavation to clear out all the material left behind that was on her property.  I started contacting Zach, one of the business owners, over a month ago and he kept saying he would come over to look at the unfinished job his crew left behind, but he never showed up.  I consider this to be very unprofessional to not even have the decency to come back and look at the unfinished job, even after I sent him pictures.  I requested that he reimburse me $1400.00 since the stump is still there, day 2 was a guy with a wheelbarrow and not an excavator, and not all the yard waste was taken to the dump.  In one text he mentioned how important customer satisfaction is and the next one he is saying to take him to court.  I definitely would not recommend D&H excavating to anybody and will be pursuing legal action.
