More importantly, the plumbing work they did failed after just 18 months leading to my second water event in my home in less than 2 years. That in turn led us to get kicked out of our home insurance and prompt us to have to buy much more expensive home insurance as a replacement. The point of failure was the connection between the two water heaters, with a powerful leak springing up, breaking through the drywall. No plumbing work should fail after just 18 months, and certainly not between two pipes. It seems like it was just careless work.

They used their boring machine to lay a new pipe under huge boulders, our lawn and our concrete pad. We appreciated the minimal disruption to our landscaping. We've had our new water line for a year and we've had zero issues. I appreciated that Done Right has their own machine for underground drilling and establishing new water mains. Next, I bought a 1931 home that was a rental. It had deferred maintenance. And the inspection report told me I would need to make some plumbing fixes. I had them replace all the tub/shower faucets and valves. I also got a new tub drain (there was evidence that at some point there had been a leak). I got a new water shut off. A new copper water line for the fridge. A new basement utility sink. New water connection to the washer. A new p-trap to the bathroom sink. I learned that the best faucets are Moen. Garrett and Abe are a great team. I do feel like Jafco is more expensive than if you hire a local one-person plumber. That might be to cover their marketing and scheduling. Either he realized I didn't believe him and didn't want to put his up sell on paper, or he didn't think a washer alone was worth his two hours of time to fix (because the company I went with only took 2 hours.) The plumber also answered the phone as Beacon Plumbing before asking which plumbing company I was calling for.
