Starbucks in Hong Kong…read more.. Wandering around, in the North Shopping Plaza of Discovery Bay, my friend and I entered Starbucks because I wanted a Hong Kong coffee mug (...and air conditioning)! I had gotten a mug in Mexico City last year and I wanted to add to my collection. What I didn't expect to find was Rabbit themed items... because Full Moon Festival is next week! Ah so! I HAD TO get those bunny items... they were the last of their supply! I also got a bunny magnet and a plushie! So super cute! I almost got the Starbucks mooncakes, but my friend didn't want to help me eat them...lol! Overall, the service was very helpful. The young men at the counter were efficient and friendly! My items were packaged with care and boxes were given to me in a flat manner so I can carry them on the plane. We got beverages since we were there. The pretty Frozen Mango Hibiscus Tea with Pomegranate Pearls was a bit tart for me. I'm glad that I got the Ice Shaked Peach Green Tea! I wasn't a fan of the paper straws and I also wished that the door was an automatic or swinging type instead of a cumbersome sliding door. Will we return? Yes - if we are in the area again!
