I was pleasantly surprised to find a % Arabica near Rockefeller Center. I've been to the Brooklyn and Nolita location before, so now I have another location to cross off my list. The store is very small - so I wouldn't go here to get work done. It was pretty packed when I arrived (maybe because it was the holidays?) and there's not a ton of seating here. I always order the Spanish latte here (it's one of their signature drinks) and it's always good. The Kyoto latte is also good if you like a less sweet drink. There's one bathroom in the back - their merch is displayed in a case next to the bathroom so you have something to look at if you are waiting in line for the bathroom. They ran out of drink lids when I went on Sunday, so it was a little awkward walking around the city with a hot drink with no lid. Glad to see another % Arabica in the city!

My match latte was very bitter. For the price, my drink was just mediocre at best. Service was quick and the interior was clean.

Beautiful space and design, the coffee was good but not out of this world compared to the price. All in all I would visit this location again.

This is the first time trying the rockefeller location and i can say it was disastrous, we tried the brooklyn location just two days ago and it was so good we wanted another cup instantly. I ordered the matcha latte and as soon as the drink was ready i could tell by the color that it wasn't the same (compared to brooklyn) , but tried it anyways and i was not happy. It had a very strong milk flavor and very little matcha flavor, it was also extremely grainy and not enjoyable to drink. The service was excellent, the lady taking our order was very nice and friendly but besides the ambiance and customer service i would not recommend this place, go to the brooklyn one instead. 3/10

The food (pastries) and coffee are exceptional, Kyoto latte is just as it is in Japan taste wise. The service is fast and the ambiance is so relaxed and cozy with the clean aesthetic & pleasantly lit interior.

The iced Kyoto latte is top tier. One of the best lattes I ever had. I highly recommend trying Arabica if you're near one.

This place was absolutely gorgeous! It feels very cool and modern inside, yet comfortable. The service was very New York, dry and to the point. But the coffee was burst of flavor and texture. I had an oat milk cappuccino and truly enjoyed everything about it. Perfect temperature too.

matcha was kinda yellow , bitter tasting

the cafe is nice and i'm sure their coffee is good, but this was a terrible matcha. it said it was from Uji, Japan which produces some of the best matcha so i was excited to try it; it was yellowish, bitter, and clearly oxidized. I had to dump out my drink.

The strawberry puree added the perfect hint of sweetness to the drink, and they use real strawberries!!! The matcha was sooo creamy, and their matcha quality was really good as well. Really small store, they do have a couple tables inside, but I'd recommend enjoying it while strolling around in the city! Workers were really sweet, and service was pretty quick! They have this smiski WITH AN ADORABLE KNITTED STRAWBERRY HAT omg quite literally the cutest most perfect thing I've seen in a while.

Even though I wasn't going to try all three, I like having options to choose from. I was debating between Hinata and Hajime, so I asked the staff which one has a strong flavor and she recommended Hinata. I went with that. It's meant to have a nutty creamy taste. I'm satisfied that I can taste the nutty creaminess. Though I wish it can be bolder and have more umami. Perhaps it has to do with concentration. At the same time, $6.50 is a good price given the location, alternative matcha and drink options nearby, flavor. I also asked how much matcha they use in the medium vs large sizes. Medium is 4g for a 12oz cup. Large is 5g for a 16oz cup. Even though large is a better deal by volume, I got medium because it has a higher concentration of matcha. Since I got a hot latte, my cup came with the lid on it already. I didn't look at it immediately, so no photo available lol. I looked later on and the color looks bright green. The seating is weird where they only have a table with two seats against the window. Then there's a random one chair next to the cashier and another one next to the pickup area. The stools are slightly taller than the counters which made me feel like I was towering over the counter. I don't recommend betting on spending time to hang out there. Just buy it to go.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
