We were warmly welcomed by the owners and shown about our cabin. We stayed in the Safari Suite which was perfect for our family, including a toddler and a dog. The cabin is beautiful and very well-appointed, but the primary bathroom is exceptionally stunning and has incredible features like a sauna and rainfall shower. Simply walking the property with our dog was such a treat as well. It was very peaceful, we got to see all sorts of wildlife, and were able to just appreciate the beauty of the land. I can't remember the last time I've been somewhere that you don't have some form of noise pollution. We are definitely looking forward to staying here again when our kiddo is a little bit older and when it's warmer so we can try all of the activities and amenities Edenwood Ranch has to offer!

Yes there is only a port-a-potty and hand sanitizer/water jug situation for washing your hands but... it's a farm. I'm not sure what else is expected. The port-a-potty was in totally acceptable condition for what it was. We did wait quite a while to get on our horses and get going, but we got the treats for the horses (+$10) and really enjoyed just watching the work being done there and petting the dogs and cats and feeding the horses. For us, this waiting portion was a really enjoyable part of our time there! I think it's a matter of your perspective and what experience you're hoping to have. The guides were great with our 6 year old daughter, who wanted to ride her own horse but was nervous about having to control it. She got a very docile horse and the guide was very kind leading her the entire time. The trail was beautiful and the guides were very friendly and kind. They are no-nonsense in some ways but I think that's required! I didn't think I was going to convince our daughter to leave at the end, she was so attached to her horse and all the dogs running around. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.

They have 23 dogs which our boys loved to play with. We had a good time talking to the owner about the history of the ranch. She is very knowledgeable on the area and gave us a lot of interesting information. It was our first time to Wisconsin so she gave us some places to visit. We visited a few of her suggestions and they made our Wisconsin experience even more fun. We are thankful for the hospitality. *My review originally showed four stars but that was a typo. Even after taking one tent down he would not budge- Disappointing as we have been going for the last 5 or 6 years with 2 other campers over memorial day, but fortunately there are alot of other campgrounds that value customers.
