This is a review for parents with kids…read more I am talking about West Valley Dance Academy. I've taken my now close to 4 year old to this studio for the past 6 months, and every day has been great! The school is owned and operated by Lisa Tran. Lisa is a mother and former dancer herself, so she understands both. Lisa teaches many classes herself, and from what I've witnessed, all the kids learn + have a lot of fun. My daughter's main teacher is Kate Newham -- and my daughter loves her! She actually asks before we go if we'll be seeing Miss Kate. Miss Kate is so kind and understanding of all the little kids needs. Many of them, as we all know, just say what's on their mind at any time. Kate always listens, but directs the kiddies back to dance. Also. At no time do the kids just run around and do what they want. Miss Kate has the innate ability to reach them, and keep them dancing. It is a wonderful sight to see, One of the other hi-lights of the school is the ability to watch your children dance, even if you are at home. Lisa sends out a link allowing one to watch their kids progress in the world of dance. Many times, I am watching my daughter from the waiting room, while my wife is viewing from work. Oh yeah, parents aren't allowed in the actual dance studio. You just wait in the comfortable lobby, and watch from there. I should also mention, if one day your little one has to miss a class, they can easily make it up another day They also sell dance shoes, and clothes, in case your tiny dancer needs it. Everything one might need is right there at the studio. I know this school takes older kids too. So don't worry about that. They also put on recitals throughout the year for the bigger kids. Can't wait for my Callie to be in one herself. I usually try to put price of classes, but since my daughter is still in the toddler stage, I can tell you that it is more than reasonable. During the pandemic, masks were required for every person who was in the building. As of right now, masks are optional. I can guarantee, if things change, Lisa will be at the forefront, and mask wearing will be mandatory once again. What I tell people looking for a dance class, is to call West Valley Dance Academy, and request an intro class, so you can see if it works for you and your family. Our…read moreoldest has moved on to other interests, but our 7-year-old continues with ballet and loves it. I've watched Elite grow from a smaller studio into the powerhouse it is today. Elite is an excellent dance studio, from day one through their very polished recitals. It's important to note that this is not a cutesy/playtime type of studio. Dance is a discipline, and so dress code and presentation are taken seriously. For first-timers, that might feel a little intimidating, but there's a reason behind it. Hair and makeup need to be spot-on for recitals, because there's always a chance your cute 3 or 4-year-old might get on stage and just stand there! But guess what? They'll look fantastic doing it. And then, year after year, you'll see their confidence and ability grow. As a parent, you will need to stay on top of recital packets to know who/what/where/when, and I find Elite to be very thorough in the material they send out, or if you simply call them ahead of time. Another perk.. they have a professional photographer who takes photos on stage and backstage at shows/recitals for FREE. As well as a videographer, which is very much appreciated. The owner, Toni, taught my oldest years ago and is fantastic, both as a teacher and as a business owner. Neither of my girls have ever been on team, but both have always enjoyed their classes. The teachers are wonderful with age-appropriate instruction (shout out to Miss Princess with the littles) and technique. My 7-year-old only takes one ballet class currently, yet she could not be more excited to be performing in The Nutcracker for her second year in a row. Needless to say, we love Elite!

We had no choice but to drop our son off at his grandparents daily where he was not focusing or learning at all. We were left in a bind and then received a recommendation by a friend to join Kids Club with Miss Jodi. After my initial conversation with Jodi and visiting the studio we immediately fell in love. She worked with us on putting together an affordable weekly package for my Son to attend full time. The studio is extremely clean and the desks are evenly divided for social distancing. Each child has their own designated table where they can keep their school items on their desks. There are several employees walking around assisting each child. My Son has come such a long way by being with Releve! Jodi really takes her time to help him learn and understand his school work. The other teachers are also amazing with helping him complete his school work and homework daily. He loves all his friends at Releve and they are able to play together in a very safe way. I really don't know what I would do without Jodi and the other amazing ladies (and gents) here. My daughter will soon be starting dance classes here as well. Thank you guys so much for helping my son during this crazy time! If you need a place to help your child learn during distance learning, this is the place! For my daughter, we were concerned initially that due to her age but inexperience, she would have to learn with kids who were much younger than her (like three years younger than her or even more)... after her hip-hop trial, she was discouraged because she was a lot older than the other kids and yet much more inexperienced. But we expressed that to the studio and they responded so gracefully and found the perfect class for her where there are kids her age, but they are also new-ER to dance as well and my daughter is totally happy and we are loving the classes and teachers thus far. The studio has been so accommodating and very communicative and helpful! The teachers are awesome too, and you can feel the spirit of dance and creativity there. I'm hopeful about our journey there and my daughter's own journey with dance. I think if there's any place that could get her hooked to dance, it's this place.

I grew up dancing myself, so I knew I wanted to find a studio that wasn't too packed or chaotic, but somewhere that felt welcoming, personable, and where my son could really enjoy himself. His teacher, Ms. Jace, is AMAZING! She's so welcoming, patient, and just has such a beautiful way of working with toddlers. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and she makes the little ones feel so comfortable. We ended up picking this studio and signing our son up because it was exactly what we were looking for. From the classes they offer, to how they help the little ones transition, and just the overall vibe of the studio. Everything felt right, and I'm so so so happy we found this place! Andrey, who is also the owner with his wife, Victoria, became my instructor. Andrey continuously teaches me everything from the basic steps to more advance spins and moves. I started on June 18th and will be finishing up sometime in mid July before my trip. He makes the scenario comfortable and professional. I realize it's important to be taught by a man, because they understand how to lead. He is extremely patience as I've never danced before. If you plan to learn how to salsa, I advise to take private lessons and record each session so you can practice at home.. this is so you can progress comfortably with each session with Andrey. I highly recommend coming here. The facility is clean, and has several rooms. Everyone is friendly and it's an enjoyable atmosphere. They of course do more than just salsa. You'll be in good hands.

We were already down to the wire in terms of timing, but the manager, Stephanie, was so incredibly kind and accommodating. We worked with Any and she was so sweet and patient with us. She choreographed a beautiful first dance for us in a very short amount of time. We started with a package of 3 lessons, and ended up adding a couple more at the end because, well, we were pretty terrible lol, but it all worked out. The studio is open pretty late (until like 9pm or later) and there's plenty of parking in front and in back. The only thing I didn't like is that you share the studio space with others, or sometimes a class, so you have to share the music and sometimes have to maneuver around people, which can throw you off a little.
