ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE at AR WORKSHOP CORONADO with Reg and Izzy! We were welcomed in as a group with bright smiles and excellent customer service. The positive vibes from Reg and Izzy were what we needed to have a successful chunky blanket session. The instruction by Reg was very good and she was on point with analogies to help us all better understand and visualize what we needed to do. Example, "Two big bunny ears...new bunny eats old bunny, then create another new bunny.." for the braiding edge technique. This was overall AWESOME! I highly recommend groups of 5-9 people to participate in this awesome chunky blanket class. Parking is better 2 blocks away in the residential neighborhood, and free. After our chunky blanket class, we shopped their awesome jewelry bar. They have so many beautiful earrings and charm bracelets. Had the best time making and painting a coffee table tray this past Saturday at AR Workshop. Attended a wok-sponsored event. Ahead of time we all picked out what we wanted to make, and what we wanted to the design to look like. When we arrived there's a couple of tables all setup with our project we picked out all ready for us. We get a little schpeal about what kind of paint to pick and then we can pick out our colors and get to work. It was so much fun and so easy (I'm not creative, but was very easy to follow the stencils). We also brought our own food and drinks and while our paint was drying we could walk around and munch and chat with everyone. I have already been chatting with my girlfriends about coming back to do an event together. read more

I had the most amazing birthday gathering here. Laura was so helpful every step of the way. She even sent a link so my guest could rsvp and pay for their candles directly. It was so nice not to have to worry about collecting money. We were able to bring our own food to eat during the gathering. Everything was set up so we could make candles at our leisure while eating and chatting. We were even allowed to suggest music we wanted to hear during the gathering. The shop is beautiful, with so many cool, affordable things to buy. I picked up the candles and my car smelled so divine. I loved how she had every one's candle wrapped, and labeled with burning instructions. I'm looking forward to taking other classes soon. read more

The team came and did an NSW kids workshop and it was incredible! My kid had such an amazing time and the staff was really well prepared and organized. We had the privilege of doing a workshop "diy" session with the owner of the store and she was so attentive, creative, and knowledgeable on all the different painting techniques and stains/washes to help create such a beautiful finished product!! As someone who hasn't stained or used a drill in her life i so appreciated the owners patience when working with us! I adore the end product and can't wait to come back to make something else!!! My experience in AR workshop was wonderful! While in town, a friend and I attended a class through this AR workshop while enjoying Coronado Island. I was able to make a personalized sign and it turned out great. That is saying a lot because I am not artistic! The whole AR workshop team made me feel relaxed and helped guide me through the whole process. My family had a great experience from start to finish working with Laura at AR Workshop. Having individual product selection available online made it so easy for my group of 8 to choose something for everyone. Arriving to a studio set up for ease was fantastic.
