She's so sweet and easy to work with. Her furniture and decor transformed the space and not just the look but the feel of it didn't seem too "stagy" or cheap. She matched the vibe of the property where so many stagers just throw whatever inventory they have into every space regardless of fit. We listed it and got an offer the very next day for over ask price. I truly believe her staging played a big part. We feel lucky to have found her and will be using her now for all future listings!

After interviewing several interior designers in 2021 for our whole-home remodel and new build,…read moreselecting Esteban Interiors proved to be not only the best decision for our project, but one of the most meaningful investments we have ever made in our home and our quality of life. From our first meeting, it was immediately clear that Esteban and his team were exceptional. They didn't simply listen to our vision. They understood it. More importantly, they understood why it mattered. Although our aesthetic differed from what is typically seen in San Diego, it was embraced with enthusiasm, respect, and remarkable sensitivity. The result was a home that feels deeply personal, refined, and far more beautiful than we ever imagined. In a market where many designers adhere to a single "coastal" formula, Esteban stands apart for his rare versatility and depth. His mastery of modern, traditional, and mid-century design brings a level of sophistication and artistic range that is truly uncommon. Beyond conceptual ideas and mood boards, Esteban Interiors delivers fully realized visual renderings and detailed 3D plans, allowing clients to experience how a space will feel long before installation begins. Every detail, from moulding profiles and lighting to furniture placement, feels intentional, cohesive, and precisely tailored. Working within a defined budget, the team demonstrated exceptional skill in balancing custom, statement-making pieces with thoughtfully value-engineered selections. At no point was the integrity or beauty of the design compromised. Our budget was respected at every stage, and we were consistently presented with options that felt both aspirational and attainable. Throughout construction, their stewardship of our home was outstanding. Frequent site visits, meticulous oversight, and calm problem-solving ensured that every detail was executed flawlessly. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care were evident in every interaction. Four years later, when it came time to expand our home, there was no hesitation in returning to Esteban Interiors. Once again, the experience exceeded expectations. The process was just as inspiring as the first, and today, every room in our home reflects their thoughtful and cohesive design approach. Our home is now more than a collection of rooms. It is a sanctuary. Each space feels purposeful, every detail tells a story, and the result is a home that truly reflects who we are. It is a gift we never take for granted, and one we owe entirely to Esteban and his exceptional team. Whether this is your first time working with an interior designer or you have experience with others, I can say with complete confidence that choosing Esteban Interiors will be one of the most rewarding and transformative decisions you can make for your home. The condo was built in the 70's and had never been renovated. It needed a complete overhaul. We also needed to make the renovation happen fast. Sara was by our side the entire time. My wife and I bought a house in PQ last September. The house was remodeled and updated in the…read moremaster bathroom and kitchen. Although the builders did some nice touches to the house, we weren't thrilled with it. To top it off, the furniture we had from our old house was boring, too matchy-match and cheap looking. Since our house was an upgrade from our last, we wanted to to things right and make it the house that we always wanted. We've watched HGTV and shows of the like that had interior makeovers and what not and we knew we wanted something like that done as well. We had no idea what to expect from working with an interior designer. We contacted a couple of designers before we contacted Jessica. The first two designers seemed uninterested with working with us. Not sure why but it could be the layout of the house, the size of the job or maybe just us that they felt they just didn't want to take on our project. Fine by us. We contacted Jessica. She was referred to us by my wife's co-worker. Jessica and Amy came out to our house and we just loved their energy and the way they handled things. They asked us questions about our preferences and ideas and from there they went to work. They always were available to us when we had questions and they always updated us in each phase of the project. We knew what we were spending and for what and where. They did our dining room, conversation room, master bedroom and living room. These were the rooms that were the focal point of the house and wanted to make it special when we entertain and have guests. They took our preferences and put together the most stunning designs from furniture to paint to everything else in between. We would have never thought of the color scheme, furniture selection, artwork or accessories that they put together. That's why they are the professionals! On the install day, we were in awe. We could not believe this was our house! Everyday we come home and we just sit here and pinch ourselves. We keep saying, "wow, this is our house!" And when we have parties and get together s, people are just in love with everything. We are so proud to live here. Jessica and Amy were a joy to work with. They listen, they act on it and they get things done. They were so worth it. Go with them, you will not be disappointed!

I most certainly would recommend the team to anyone embarking on a design project of their own. This was our second design project with Jessica. It came about as a result of our recent relocation to Columbus, Ohio. As it turned out the buyer of our condominium in San Diego purchased our unit 'as is' complete with all furniture and decorating items. That fact alone speaks volumes regarding the quality of our first project with Jessica. With this move, we were transitioning to a 5100 square foot home and were starting from scratch. To complicate the matter, our new home was in Columbus and the project was going to have to rely on some serious communication skills, strong remote coordination and commitment to the decorating plan, timing expectations and budget envelope. Jessica & her team knocked the ball out of the park. We couldn't be happier with the end result. Jessica has the ability to take a blank sheet of paper, pepper in client preferences, and then deliver an award winning design on-time and on budget. If I were to describe her attributes they might include: Creativity & innovation - She has the uncanny ability to walk into a space and immediately see the possibilities. It is as if she was simply born with the design gene. Balances cost/value - The one thing I like most about J Hill is that there is not a cookie-cutter approach. Based on a solid understanding of customer preferences and budget constraints, she delivers solutions. And, importantly her solutions are turnkey. We went from an empty house to a beautiful showcase home in just 8-10 weeks. On budget and on time. Always available / technologically advanced- Even being over 2000 miles apart presented no challenge. Through routine conference calls, videoconferences, email and site visits, it felt as though our designer was located right here in Columbus. Put simply, Jessica collaboratively assembles the plan and then executes it flawlessly. We have used a lot of designers in the past, but none that I would recommend over J Hill Interiors. If you are in the market for affordable design services that deliver tremendous value, you wont go wrong with Jessica Tompane and the entire J Hill Interior Design group.

I was both impressed with her sense of style and her professionalism. The process started with her visiting our home to get a general sense of our style and to interview us about the project. She asked thoughtful questions and took detailed measurements of our current space. With a short time we had the initial designs and was surprised how close to the mark they were. I was expecting a number of rounds of back and forth before we got to that point so it showed she really had an understanding of our priorities and style. Since this was our first project, and I'm a very detail oriented person, I had a lot of questions and really wanted to understand everything about the process. She was patient and prompt when answering my questions and going over the details, sometimes repeatedly. I really appreciated that because I know we weren't her biggest client. I was also impressed with her taking the initiative and working with our general contractor to make sure we where all on the same page.
