To start, the process to refine the designs to match our needs and lifestyle was very frustrating and Alyce was often passive aggressive when doing so. She would make remarks like "some clients just cut me the check and let me do everything", "you need to take up drinking." She commented on our marriage, made threats about renovations causing divorce and was a source of stress and anxiety. She was late to almost all of our meetings, but was constantly checking the time which was quite uncomfortable. Her assistant, Michelle, was very kind during our meetings. Lastly, we found out that she copied her prior client's dinning room design and put it in our proposal. While it is with reason to take inspiration from other work, copying over an identical table, chair, drapery, window covering, and colors, etc. from one's own previous client and pitching it to the next is very unprofessional, considering we were billed 30 hours to design the dinning room. I don't recommend this company for interior design.

Both parties were a huge success and effortless on my end. I also enjoy weekly visits to their new fabulous storefront and have never left empty handed!!

The Bungalow 56 team transformed the bedroom for a little girl fighting leukemia who shares a room with her brother. They went above and beyond to create this healing oasis for Yami and Gabriel. Yami's dream room included a space for her to crochet and do crafts. Yami has been fighting cancer for 1.5 years and has spent a lot of time isolated at home. This new healing and craft space that Bungalow 56 created couldn't be more perfect! In the words of Yami's mom: "This has helped all of us to see this journey with a more positive view. Because we see her happiness when she goes to her room, we know that she will have even more strength to keep going and not give up, even if once in a while the times are rough." Thank you so, so, so much to the Bungalow 56 Interior Design Team!!

The positive vibes from Reg and Izzy were what we needed to have a successful chunky blanket session. The instruction by Reg was very good and she was on point with analogies to help us all better understand and visualize what we needed to do. Example, "Two big bunny ears...new bunny eats old bunny, then create another new bunny.." for the braiding edge technique. This was overall AWESOME! I highly recommend groups of 5-9 people to participate in this awesome chunky blanket class. Parking is better 2 blocks away in the residential neighborhood, and free. After our chunky blanket class, we shopped their awesome jewelry bar. They have so many beautiful earrings and charm bracelets. They will even attach the charms that you purchase onto your bracelet, bonus!

Ahead of time we all picked out what we wanted to make, and what we wanted to the design to look like. When we arrived there's a couple of tables all setup with our project we picked out all ready for us. We get a little schpeal about what kind of paint to pick and then we can pick out our colors and get to work. It was so much fun and so easy (I'm not creative, but was very easy to follow the stencils). We also brought our own food and drinks and while our paint was drying we could walk around and munch and chat with everyone. I have already been chatting with my girlfriends about coming back to do an event together.

The Signature Shop located right off the lobby of the Hotel Del Coronado is where you go to get logo items and items featuring the beautiful red roofed victorian style hotel. For anyone who has fallen in love with The Del, its likely you may want to take a piece home with you. The SIgnature Shop is a great place to do this beacuse they have something for all ages, genders and price points. For example, reusable shopping bags from $4 to hand embroidered pillows ranging to many, many more dollars. Men might like to take home a t-shirt or embroidered golf shirt. You can also get home decor items like Christmas ornaments, coasters and art prints. What I really like about The Signature Shop is that I like souvenirs to take home to remind me of the places I've visited but I want them to be classy and functional and that is exactly what you get at The Signature Shop.

I walked into the store in hope of buying birthday presents for my female staff, as I was browsing every corner I got to the stuff on the back of one of tables, a young female staff approached in an awkward way from the other side with a disturbing load tone "can I help you with something", i was like, what?!!! Perhaps she assumed I intended to steal something from them which is very sad and frankly pathetic. Considering at that point, I hadn't even touched ANYTHING yet! When you have such a store packed with tiny cute items you should expect people browsing around and admiring what you have, instead by harassing them and trying to make them uncomfortable you are just going to go out of business very fast. I ended up walking out of that store in less than two minutes not buying anything.
