I have gone here before the pandemic and had a great time, so I was excited to learn they are offering to go kits. A few friends and I got together for a virtual craft night, and it was a great way to spend an evening together. The kits came with plenty of paint, the stencil, sandpaper, and a foam sponge to use as a brush. The paints weren't labeled, so you had to figure out which one was the stain, but that's ok. We had a lot of fun, and it was great to feel like we were all hanging out and doing something together, even if we were in our own homes. read more

I've been to AR Workshop a few times before covid and loved it so when I was tasked with planning a virtual social event for my team at work, I immediately thought about this place! Jen was amazing and hopped on the phone with me to talk me through how to plan a private, virtual event, how to narrow down selections to the price range needed and helped ship everything to my team all over the US in less than a week! WHOAH!!! She helped me pull off the impossible in a very short period of time and she coached us through the project virtually so everyone knew what to do. The projects turned out AWESOME and i've received so much positive feedback from my colleagues about the fun and practical project (something they will actually hang in their homes!). I have been to AR Workshop on multiple occasions for adult workshops and each time had so much fun. When my kiddos were finally old enough to experience this, we chose to have their bday party there. Had such a great time making our own chunky blankets! It wasn't supposed to be my birthday party, but thanks for the tiramisu, Vonnie! If you've never done one of these workshops, you really should. They are a blast. You can bring in snacks (or pizza!) and whatever you like to drink, and between that and the fun with friends and easy going staff, it all adds up to a memorable event! The prices are reasonable, especially when you consider that a night out with the gals at the bar would certainly cost you more, and the atmosphere is much more conducive to conversation! read more

Fan. Freaking. Tastic! My girlfriends brought me here for my bridal shower and it was perfect. We worked on getting my table numbers done (which turned out great!) and some of the other girls had super cute projects they were excited about having around their homes. The kind of care, kindness, and attention to detail Jen and her colleagues share is beyond amazing. Love love love this place! So many wonderful designs and projects to pick from. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly and I appreciate their helpful tips and suggestions. Last time I got a little carried away and used way too much paint, the gal working our table took the time to fix my mistakes and I really appreciated that! I went home with an amazing sign for our home that I was so proud to hang! From sanding the wood to assembling the frame they were there to guide us every step of the way! I have gone several times now and each time has been a great experience! I love that they allow us to bring our own food and drinks and go above and beyond to make sure we have a wonderful time. read more

A group of my college girlfriends met out in the Boulder area for a reunion and our host planned a party here for us on our last night. We had such a ball making custom signs and being together, doing something fun! We brought in food and made a whole evening out of our party here. The staff was so friendly and helpful and Jen (the owner, I believe) was walking around talking to us and making everyone feel welcome! I would love to do this again!! read more

I threw a bachelorette party for my best friend here and it was so fun! We made some of the decorations the bride is going to use at her ceremony and reception. Everything turned out great! Jen the owner was so helpful and easy to work with. She even hung out and chatted with us. Everything was perfect. I love this place! I can't wait to order the to-go ornament kits for the holidays - a bunch of my friends are raving about them. I have been here (pre-COVID) for a bunch of girls nights and a kid event (making Christmas ornaments for nursing homes last year). It is always so much fun. My friend and I decided to go here for a proper Mom's night out upon the recommendation of a friend who tried it recently and loved it. It was a great alternative to the same old dinner routine, and our projects came out fantastic (despite me being less than artistically gifted), and we got to bring our own snacks. When I popped onto the website originally I noticed there weren't any workshops scheduled for Saturday night so I called to ask if they might allow us in to work on a small project despite not having anything on the calendar. The owner was more than happy to accommodate the request, opened up a workshop, and we had a really lovely Saturday night. In addition to being accommodating, she made thoughtful recommendations, guided every step of the process and was just fun to chat with/hang around. They have so many projects to choose from and can work with large groups of kids or adults. read more

You don't need to have any artistic ability whatsoever to make any of their projects, anyone can do it. management is missing here... we had a group , about 20, and there was another group of five..we for sure weren't treated equally. ..the group of five were quite doted over. even had a big food spread right on front of us, to the point that we thought it was of course, for everyone. at 60 bucks a head, they need to step it up. also, a 6 to 8.30 class is actually 6 to 10:15...big difference. and the actual artistic skills an advice were often just inaccurate and I'll informed. they need to get better systems, have the expert teachers, roam more... and learn some basic art skills . materials, brushes etc.. were not usable. .. I like some level of creativity, this was very limiting. I couldn't even get a good brush to enhance and be creative. give it a year to work out the kinks.. incl. answering the phone. .basic business skills if nothing else read more
